Is50 Financial Sponsor Form
U.S. Universities are required by law to verify that students entering the U.S. with temporary student visas have
adequate financial resources to meet the expenses of their program of study. Please have your financial sponsor
complete this financial sponsor form and provide supporting financial documents to you so that you can request a
Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20 or DS-2019) from Clemson University. You will use this same financial documentation
to apply for your U.S. student visa or change of status within the U.S. If you have multiple financial sponsors, please
have each sponsor complete their own separate form.
