Field Experience Concentration
Gain hands-on experience right away
• How it works:
– Within the first three semesters of joining the MSEM program, students conduct a
field experience, which can be an internship, co-op, or practicum at an industrial
company, government agency, or similar entity.
– Before the field experience, students must complete at least three EM courses,
including one course in the management core and one course in the technical core.
– After the field experience, students must take at least one course that has a major
project component. A list of suitable courses will be provided to students every
semester.
The field experience concentration allows international students to participate
in internships and co-ops after just one semester on-campus
