    VOTE OF THANKS FOR INAUGURATION CEREMONY

    Honourable Dias and audience, good afternoon to you all.

    I feel honored to propose this vote of thanks on the behalf of ………….. and on my own behalf.

    Respected Dignitaries, Esteemed Judges, Respected Faculty Members, Honorable Guests, and
    Dear Participants,

    On behalf of the organizing committee, I stand here to extend our heartfelt gratitude and
    appreciation as we gather for the inauguration of the National Moot Court Competition on
    Consumer Protection Laws 2024, organized by the Centre for Consumer Research and Policy at
    the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi, under the distinguished
    sponsorship of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of
    India.

    At the outset, we express our deepest gratitude to our esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.)
    Ashok R. Patil, whose visionary leadership and unwavering support have made this prestigious
    event possible. Your dedication to fostering a culture of legal excellence and critical engagement
    among the students has truly inspired the initiative behind this competition, and we are
    immensely grateful for your guidance in our academic and professional endeavors.

    I wholeheartedly thank our guest of honor Hon’ble Mr. Justice Basant Kumar Goswami, Acting
    President, Jharkhand State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for sparing his valuable
    time and giving us valuable knowledge and information.
    A special note of gratitude to our Chief Guest, Professor (Dr.) Ranbir Singh, Distinguished
    Professor, Former and Founder Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Delhi, and
    NALSAR, Hyderabad, whose insights and expertise in the field of consumer protection laws will
    provide us with invaluable perspectives and serve as a guiding light for us as aspiring legal
    professionals. Your words have enriched our understanding and commitment to upholding
    justice in this crucial area.

    We are indeed privileged to have with us today a panel of esteemed judges who bring vast
    experience and insight to this event. We extend our sincerest appreciation to each of you for
    taking time out of your busy schedules to mentor, evaluate, and inspire us. Your presence adds
    immense value to the proceedings and will undoubtedly enhance our understanding of the law
    through your expert guidance.

    Our heartfelt thanks go to the faculty members of the Centre for Consumer Research and Policy,
    who have worked tirelessly to bring this event to fruition. Your constant support, organization,
    and mentorship have provided a strong foundation, ensuring the competition's success.

    We would also like to acknowledge the invaluable efforts of our dedicated team of volunteers,
    without whom this event would not have been possible. Your hard work behind the scenes
    reflects your commitment to excellence and your dedication to the growth and success of this
    moot court competition.

    Finally, to the participants from various institutions, thank you for being here and contributing
    your talent and insight. It is your passion for the law that brings this competition to life, and we
    wish each of your success, hoping that this competition fosters not only legal proficiency but also
