Approximate Measurements:

Materials:
Kimera: 8—50G balls, color 10
Gauge: 22 sts, 10.5 rows= 4” in
Pattern Stitch on US Size F
(3.5mm) crochet hook after
blocking.
Needles/Notions: US Size F (3.5mm)
crochet hook.

Foundation Row: 1 SC in 2nd Ch from hook, sc in each ch to end. Turn.
Row 1: Ch 5 (counts as 1 DC + 2 Ch), skip next 2 SC, DC in next SC, *Ch 2, skip next 2 SC, DC in next SC; rep
from * to end. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 5, (counts as 1 DC + 2 Ch), *1 DC in next DC, Ch 2; rep from *, end 1 DC in 3 rd CH of beg Ch 5. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first DC, *2 SC in next Ch 2 space, 1 SC in next DC; rep from *, end last rep as 1 SC in 3 rd Ch of
beg Ch 5. Turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, 1 SC in each SC to end. Turn.
Rep rows 1-4 for pattern st.

Loosely Ch 86. Work in Pattern Stitch for 60”, end having worked row 3. Do not cut yarn.

Edging (Multiple of 8 sts + 1)


Rotate work 90 degrees,
Row 1: Ch 1, evenly SC 337 along the long edge of the shawl, skipping spaces as necessary to produce an even pick
up. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first DC), skip the next SC, DC in each SC across. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 5 (counts as first DC + Ch 2), skip next 2 DC, *1 DC in next 3 DC, Ch 2, skip 2 DC, 1 DC in next DC,
Ch 2, skip 2 DC; rep from *, end last rep 1 DC in DC. Turn.
Row 4: Ch4, TCL in next Ch 2 space, Ch 9, *DTCL over next 2 Ch 2 space, Ch 9; rep from *, end TCL in last Ch 2
space. Turn.
Row 5: Ch 1, sl st in top of first TCL, *(1 SC, 1 HDC, 7 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC) in Ch 9 loop; rep from *, end sl st in top
of last TCL.
Cut yarn, leaving a 4” tail for weaving in. Fasten off.
Repeat this edging for the other long edge of the stole.

Finishing
Block to measurements. Weave in all
ends.
