and reported on 15.10.2024 at 5.00 P.M, Wherein the complainant Gadam Srinivas
S/o Manyalu, A/49 years, C/kapu, D.No.78-16-13, Dhanalakshmi Textile Street,
Syamala Nagar, Rajamahendravaram reported that he has been doing Cricket bats
business for his livelihood. On 29.09.2024 at afternoon 2.00 P.M he along with his
family members went to Hyderabad for some medical treatment purpose. However
on 14.10.2024 at evening 6.00 P.M, his servent maid Syamala called him and
informed that his house doors are in open condition. Immediately, the complainant
informed the matter to his cousin Sattibabu and he rushed to the house and
informed about the occurrence of theft. On 15.10.2024 at morning, the complainant
rushed to his house and found that some unknown offenders wrongfully entered into
his house by breaking the main door locks of Ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor and
committed theft of Gold Ornaments i.e 1) Hamsala Haram, 2) Kumpula Haram, 3)
Stones Haram, 4) Plan Gold round Haram, 5) Bangles Slim, 6) Flower Model
Neckless, 7) Small Neckless, 8) Round Small neckless, 9) Ear ring, 10) White stones
ear studs, 11) Navaratnamala, 12) Finger rings-4, 13) Jilebi model neckless, 14) Ear
rings(buttalu), 15) Mucchala Danda, 16) Big Bangles-2, 17) Gopi Chain, 18) Black
Beeds Chain, 19) Step Haram, 20) Small Blackbeeds chain, 21) Slim chain and 22)
Kada Bangles-2, (All weigh about 250 grams worth of Rs.5,00,000 /-) containing in
two wooden beruvas by broke opened them forcefully and escaped with booty.
Hence the complainant requested for necessary action in this matter.

II. INFORMATION :

On 15.10.2024 at 05.00 pm the complainant came to the Station and presented a


written report in Telugu, which runs as follows in anglicized version :

REPORT OF THE COMPLAINANT :

“Sir, My name is Gandham Srinivasarao, S/o. Manyalu residing at D.No.78-16-


13, Dhanalakshmi Textile Street, Syamala Nagar, aged 49, C/Kapu. I was married. I
have one boy. I am selling cricket related material at home. Due to illhealth, on 26-
09-2024 afternoon at 2.00 P.M. I along with my family started in a car to the Hospital
in Hyderabad. Later on 03-10-2024 my cousin G.Prabhu Kumar came to our house
and on 04-10-2024 night at 10-30 P.M. he went away to Hyderabad in a bus. Until
04-10-2024, servant maid used to come and pouring water to flower plants. After
4th, my wife asked servant maid to go home and to pour water to plants, but the
servant maid told that she has fever and it was raining and till 13th day, that servant
maid Syamala did not go home. On 14-10-2024 evening at 5.00 P.M. my wife told
servant maid that we shall come tomorrow, you go home and to clean verandah and
everything. That servant maid came home at about 6 p.m. and noticed the house
main door is open and our servant maid rang and told us. I told the matter to my
cousin P.Sathibabu over phone, he told that inside the house is ransacked.
Immediately we came from Hyderabad to Rajahmundry on 15-10-2024 morning at
5.00 A.M. we went inside, checked bedroom and found the wooden almirah in the
first bedroom was broken and gold articles inside is missing. Likewise wooden
almirah in the 1st floor bedroom is broken and gold aritlces in it are missing. The list
of stolen golden articles are (1) Hamsala Haram, (2) Kumpula Haram, (3) Stones
Haram, (4) plain round haram, (5) white stoned ear studs, (6) Flower model
necklace, (7) small necklace, (8) small round necklace, (9) ear ring, (10) White
stoned ear studs, (11) Navaratnamala, (12) 4 Finger rings, (13) Jilebi model
necklace, (14) ear rings (buttalu), (15) mucchala danga, (16) big bangles -2, (17)
gopi Chain, (18) black beeds chain, (19) Step Haram, (20) small black beads chain,
(21) slim chain, (22) 2 kada bangles, total weighing about 250 Grams. Some
unknown thieves during our absence at home, broke doors of our house and have
stolen our gold articles. Hence, informing this for necessary action.”

Having perused the above, I registered it as a FIR in Cr.No.304/2024 U/S.331(4),


305 BNS of Prakashnagar PS, Rajamahendravaram on 15-10-2024 at 5-00 P.M., The
original FIR along with the original complainant’s report submitted to the court of II
AJFCM., Rajamahendravaram and copies to all concerned.
Motive, preparation & previous The motive and preparation behind this offence

Scene of Offence : The scene of offence is at the house bearing D.No.78-16-13,
Dhanalakshmi Textile Street, Syamalanagar, Rajamahendravaram, which is situated
at a distance of about 1 Km. towards south-east in direction from Prakashnagar
Police Station. The scene of offence house is G+3 building. In front of the scene on
the eastern side, a road is running from west to east in direction. To the southern
side of the scene, J.K.Developers office is situated. To the western side of the scene,
three storied house Door No.78-16-15 is situated. The scene of offence ground floor
main door latch has been broke with a rod and opened main door. Then I perused
the scene of offence house and found there are steps inside the house leading to
first, second and third floors. On perusal of the ground floor, there is a bedroom, one
hall, kitchen and a small balcony in the rear side. Clothes in the bedroom almirah
are lying pelllmell on the bed. In the first floor, there is a bedroom, one hall. On
perusing the bedroom, clothes from wooden almirah are lying pell-mell. On perusing
the second floor, there are two bedroom and a hall. On perusing the bedroom,
clothes from the bedroom are lying pell-mell. On perusing the third floor, it has one
bedroom and a hall. At the bed room, clothes in the almirah are lying pell-mell on
the bed. It is found that gold articles in almirahs are found to have been stolen as
told by the complainant. I then verified CC TV Cameras in the house and found them
broken and have taken away DBR. I drew Rough Sketch for the scene. The mediators
have drafted Scene Observation Report to the above affect in Telugu and I
Photographed the scene.
Reconstruction of Crime Scene. I.O. has visited the above scene of offence along
with mediators and staff and observed the same
and prepared rough sketch of scene of offence
and got photographed the scene of offence in
different angles with the service camera for the
purpose of investigation

SUMMARY OF PROSECUTION EVIDENCE :-
LW-1 : Gandham Srinivas : He is the complainant in this case. On examination
he stated that he is residing at D.No.78-16-13, Dhanalakshmi Textile Street,
Syamalanagar, Rajamahendravaram. He was married and having one boy. He is
selling cricket related material at home. Due to illhealth, on 26-09-2024 afternoon

turn went to his house, told that inside the house is ransacked. Immediately they
returned home from Hyderabad on 15-10-24 morning at 5-00 a.m., they went inside,

some unknown thieves have broke doors of his house and have stolen our gold
articles and escaped, etc. facts.

LW-2 : Gandham Wilsy : She is the wife of LW-1. On examination she


corroborated with the version of LW-1, etc. facts.

LW-3 : Bodepu Kumari : She is the mother of LW-1. On examination she too
corroborated with the version of LW-1, etc. facts.

LW-4 : Dayam Vishalakshmi : She is the younger sister of LW-1 and hearsay
witness. On examination she stated that LW-1, LW-2 came to Hyderabad for
treatment and staying at her house. On the evening of 14-10-2024 servant maid
rang to her brother and told about the theft. Then they all came to
Rajamahendravaram and found the theft, etc. facts.

LW-5 : Gummadi Prabhu Kumar : He is the cousin of LW-1 and hearsay witness.
On examination he stated that he learnt about the theft and came to the scene, etc.
facts.

LW-6 : Padala Sathibabu : He is also a cousin of LW-1 and hearsay witness. On


examination he stated that he learnt about the theft, went to the scene, verified the
matter and when informed to LW-1 over phone and then LW-1 came to the scene
and then gave report to the Police, etc. facts.

LW-7 : Pilli Syamala : She is the servant maid in the house of LW-1. On
examination she stated that she found the theft and informed to LW-1 over phone,
who in turn verified the matter and then gave report to the Police, etc. facts.

LW-8 : Nanduri Prasanthi : She is a neighbour to the scene and hearsay witness.
On examination she stated that she learnt about the occurrence, etc. facts.

Investigation in this case so far disclosed that on 26-09-2024 afternoon at 2
p.m. the complainant along with his family started in a car for treatment at a
Hospital in Hyderabad. On 03-10-2024 his cousin G.Prabhu Kumar came to his house
and on 04-10-2024 night at 10-30 p.m. his cousin went away to Hyderabad in a bus.
Until 04-10-2024, servant maid Syamala used to come to his house and pour water

soon and lay Charge Sheet against the accused and obtain CC No.
