    TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

    600A/5V MILLI VOLT DROP TEST SET

    TECHNICAL FEATURES:
    INPUT VOLTAGE : 230V,SINGLE PHASE, 50Hz AC.
    CURRENT OUTPUT : CONTINEOUS VARIABLE FROM ( 0-600) Amp DC.
    CAPACITY : 600 A DC AT 5V DC.
    INTERRUPTIONS
    DUTY CYCLE :SUITABLE FOR CONTINEOUS TESTING CONSIDERING
    BETWEENSUCESSIVE TEST.
    NATURE OF COOLING :NATURE AIR COOLED

    The above test kit will be provided with wheels for easy movement &will be consisting of the
    main following components &accessories
    1. Power mains On-OFF operation is done by means of an ON-OFF switch & fuse or by MCB along
    with lamp indication.
    2. Control START-STOP push buttons with START lamp indication.
    3. Air-cooled type step down rectifier transformer with secondary winding connected to fullwave
    rectifier bank consisting of 4nos. silicon diodes along with surge suppressor.
    4. Automatic tripping mechanism for overload/short circuit protection is used in the primary of the
    rectifier transformer.This protective device incorporating CT, contractor, auxiliary relay etc. trips
    OFF the whole circuitry. After tripping, output current will be switched OFF.
    5. Resistive Bleeder circuit will be provided in the output side.
    6. DC Ammeter along with shunt 0-60OA connected in the output circuit,to indicate direct reading
    of the output current. Resolution 14.
    7. One 0-200mVmilli voltmeter to measure the mV drop across the contact resistance. Resolution
    0.1mV
    8. Input cable/plug &socket provided.
    9. Heavy current output terminals.

    * GNERAL ARRANGEMENT:
    The equipment will be housed within anice looking well-ventilated sheet steel cubicle movable
    with wheels. All control knobs, switches, terminals, meters etc. are mounted on the top panel,
    which can be approached by opening the hinged lid.
    * Installation & commissioning by firm.

    ACCESSORIES:
    1. Current leads (3 meters) of suitable rating with crocodile clip at one end-2 nos.
    2. Potential leads (3 meters)with crocodile clips at one end-2 nos.
    3. Power supply cable with 3-pin plug-1 no.

    DOCUMENTS:
    Operation manual, works test report, warranty certificate willbe supplied along with the set.
