GREAT ROOM & BANQUETTE SEATING

All Furniture - Checked for dust, dirt, and damage. Chair


backs checked for scratches and chips. Fabric items
inspected for rips, tears, and stains. Tables inspected on
all sides for loose pieces and cosmetic damage. Bench
inspected for tears in fabric, debris behind seat, and
scratches in base.

Kiosks - Moved and inspected on all sides. All surfaces


(including vents) free of dust and debris. Screen cleaned
with soft, dry cloth. Cords and cables properly maintained,
and unit in good working order.

Sconces/Lighting - All lighting in working order. Burnt out


light bulbs replaced. Lighting scenes checked for
accuracy. Shades on sconces dusted and checked for
straightness, defects, and cosmetic damage. Overhead
fixture dusted thoroughly.

Ceiling Tiles - Free of water stains, cracks, uneven


hanging. Missing/damaged tiles replaced.

Floors - Tile mopped clean and checked for cracks,


unevenness, or other damages. Grout cleaned thoroughly.

in good condition; bent, broken, or unfit items replaced.

Television - TV and mounting bracket dusted and clean.


Screen cleaned with soft, dry cloth. Sound muted and
Closed Captioning activated.

hanging. Missing/damaged tiles replaced.

biological cleaner (Multi-Purpose Cleaner or MultiQuat
Sanitizer). Buttons and keys functional, not broken.

Apple Core - Wallpaper free of cosmetic damages. Vases


dusted and displayed correctly. Lighting in good working
order.

Overhead Lighting - Ginkgo-leaf fixture dusted, and


cleaned as needed. Track lighting dusted, and burnt out
lights replaced.

Cabinets - All items removed and shelves dusted. Inspect


for damages, stray debris, or excessive wires.

Floors - Tile mopped clean and checked for cracks,


unevenness, or other damages. Grout cleaned thoroughly.

Ceiling Tiles - Free of water stains, cracks, uneven


hanging. Missing/damaged tiles replaced.
BAKERY-CAFÉ

Counter - Cleaned; free of dust, dirt, clutter; no scratches


or chips. Surface level.

Footrest - Cleaned on all sides. All attachment points


secure and in good working order.

Bar Chairs - Wiped for dust, crumbs, and debris. Wooden


areas checked for scratches and chips; rungs wiped free
of dirt. Fabric seat and back checked for tears, cuts, and
stains.

Cupboards - All glasses, mugs, saucers removed and sent


to dishwasher. Shelves dusted and inspected for
damages, unevenness, and missing items. Lighting
operational and in good working order. Starbucks "We
Proudly Brew" sign mounted and level.
Television - TV and mounting bracket dusted and clean.
Screen cleaned with soft, dry cloth. Sound muted and
Closed Captioning activated.

Backsplash - Tiled area wiped clean, and inspected for


damages.

Overhead Lighting - Ginkgo-leaf fixture dusted, and

Draperies - Sheers and drapes inspected for tears, stains,


bits of food, ink marks, etc. Wands securely fastened and
in good condition; bent, broken, or unfit items replaced.

Table & Chairs - Wiped and inspected for damages. All


table legs secure and steady. All chairs stand square, no
wobbling. No scratches, dings, or chips in finish.

Cupboards - All items removed; send to dishwasher if


needed. All shelves dusted. Rubber safety guards
replaced if missing or damaged.

Cabinets - All items removed and floors thoroughly swept.


Check items under counter for sanitation, age, and pests.

Counter - Cleaned; free of dust, dirt, clutter; no scratches


or chips. Surface level.
Frost Plates - Surface free of significant damages, food
buildup, or mineral deposits. Under-counter units in good
working condition.

Sneeze Guards - Cleaned and free of fingerprints, oil


deposits, and streaks. Fixtures firmly mounted and secure.
Wall Menu & POS Terminal - Items free of dirt and
fingerprints. Menu secure and properly displayed. POS set
at correct angle; wires effectively managed.
Overhead Lighting - Functioning; burnt out lights replaced.
Lighting fixture dusted, and evenly hung. Shades checked
for stains, debris, bits of food, and other damage.

stains. Wall paper checked for tears and smooth edges.
Trim and molding in good condition. Artwork dusted and
glass cleaned; free of fingerprints and streaks.
Chairs - Wiped and dusted. Wood and fabric inspected for
scratches, chips, and stains. Chair sits squarely, no
wobbling.

Counter - Countertop dusted and inspected for damages.


Free of unnecessary items (pens, paper, etc.).

Vanity - Countertops inspected for damages; wiped clean.


Backsplash tile cleaned and grout inspected. Mirror and
lighting fixture checked for secure mounting, functionality,
and cleanliness.
Faucets - Hot and cold water run as demanded; no
dripping when water turned off. Drain flows freely; drain
stop functions appropriately.

Soap Dispensers - Fastened securely, and product


available.

Trash Can/Paper Towel Dispenser - Trash can well


maintained, and paper towels available for guests. Doors
to can/supplies latched or secured properly.

Commodes/Urinals - All fixtures thoroughly cleaned;


inspected for stains, spots, and deposits. Base of units
cleaned and free of stains; area around fixtures mopped
completely. No rust stains. Flush quickly and completely.
Urinal nets replaced as needed.

Floors - Tile mopped clean and checked for cracks,


unevenness, or other damages. Grout cleaned thoroughly.

Door - Clean and free of damages. Handle/knob works


easily. Door is self-closing.

Exterior Signage - Signs hung properly and securely; free


of dust and debris.

Water Fountain - Wiped clean with disinfectant or


sanitizing solution. Mineral deposits cleaned and
rusted/broken parts replaced. Unit in good working
condition.
HALLWAYS/STAIRWELLS/ELEVATOR LANDINGS/VENDING AREAS

Carpets - All carpets vacuumed, edges cleaned with


crevice tool.

Walls - All walls and wallpaper checked for dirt, stains, and
damages. Dings, scrapes, and scratches should be
cleaned and addressed as necessary. Dividers and chair
rails inspected for cleanliness and damages; dusted and
wiped clean.
Signage - All signs mounted securely and properly; free of
dust and damage. "Non Smoking" signs hung on all
rooms. Directional signs, emergency procedures, and
elevator markings clearly visible and free of damage.

Doors - Doors wiped clean; no scuff marks. Chips or


scratches filled in or painted.

Lighting - All lights clean and in working order. Emergency


lights checked and in functioning order. Lights on elevator
buttons functioning.

Vending Area - Floors cleaned thoroughly. All walls wiped


and checked for damages. Ice machine functioning and
cleaned by maintenance (monthly).

Chute Rooms - Chute room doors locked securely. Door


clean, and free of scratches, chips, and other damages.

Ceiling Tiles - Free of water stains, cracks, uneven


hanging. Missing/damaged tiles replaced.
ADMIN OFFICES

Carpets - All carpets and floor surfaces vacuumed


thoroughly. All stray and unnecessary objects removed.
Use of Windsor extractor recommended.

Walls/Ledges/Windows - Wiped clean, no traces of dirt or


stains. Wall paper checked for tears and smooth edges.
Trim and molding in good condition. Windows cleaned and
free of streaks.

POOL AREA

Window Blinds - Free of dust. Hung evenly. Open and

Ice Machine Maintenance Cleaning Procedures
Sanitizing Procedure

1. Reassemble unit.
2. Mix one teaspoon of solium hypochlorate (chlorine bleach) in one gallon of water. Fill sump trough.
3. Place toggle switch in WATER PUMP position and continue to add solution until the pump is fully primed. Circulate solution for one minute.
4. Turn off water pump and drain solution from sump trough into the bin to sanitize the bin.
5. Turn the fresh water supply and allow the sump to fill. Flush the system several times by running he water at 1-minute intervals and then drain the sump.
6. Flush the bin out several times with clean water.
7. Turn cuber on by placing the toggle switch in ICE position.
8. Make a visual inspection for leaks, drainage and proper water levels and flow. Check all components for proper location and tighten all screws before replacing front panel. See Operational Procedure for adjustment.

Air Cooled Condenser Cleaning

The air cooled condenser should be cleaned frequently. A dirty condenser restricts air flow, causing reduced ice production.

1. Turn off main power supply.


2. Remove the front and wrap-around panels. Most dirt will collect on the inlet side of the condenser. This is opposite of the fan motor.
3. Use a bristle brush to work the dust and dirt loose and remove with a vacuum cleaner.
4. If the cuber is located in an area where grease collects on the condenser, scrub with a solution of warm water and detergent. Keep solution away from wiring and electrical components.
5. Clean fan blades.
6. Check for loose items before replacing panels.
