    Conceptualization

    We will go into the design and structure of the box to help us understand its
    operating principle. Unlike other shoe drying devices on the market, putting a wet
    shoe in a box to dry is a fairly new concept. But with the device we are aiming for,
    it makes it more normal.
    First is the material of the box. We intend to use a plastic shoe box that can be
    bought on any commercial platform. In term of the size and dimensions of the box,
    We estimate that it will be a rectangle having the size about 33(length) x23(width)
    x28(height). With this size, it is only larger than the paper shoe boxes you buy in
    the store and it is also large enough to help the air circulate in the box easily and
    effectively.

    Secondly, We will do inside the device to see it clearly. Because when you put
    your wet shoes in the box, the water from the shoes during the drying process will
    easily flow into the box, so we will arrange a tray so that when you put the shoes
    on, the water will slowly flow down through the holes pre-drilled on the top
    surface of the tray. Next is one of the two most important parts of the device, the
    dryer. We can imagine it like a hair dryer. It is placed at the back of the box,
    sucking in air from the outside. From the air outlet of the dryer, we will attach a Y-
    shaped air duct to divide the air flow into 2 directions. The 2 ends of this duct will
    be inserted directly into the shoes to dry from the inside.
    However, to ensure the circulation of air in the shoes, on the lid of the box we will
    attach a fan that will suck humid air from the inside out to help reduce the
    humidity in the box.

    The second device is an infrared lamp that is attached to the top of the box and
    shines directly on the shoes. Its function is to provide a moderate warm
    temperature inside the box and it has two functions. First, the warm temperature
    helps the shoes dry faster. Second, being dried with warm temperature will help the
    shoes when dry will not have an unpleasant smell compared to when just using
    wind as usual. Finally, All the power sources to supply the small parts in the device
    will be connected to a power box located at the bottom of the box.
