Ingredients:

For the pasta:

10 lbs dried spaghetti (or any pasta you like)

Salt for boiling water
For the sauce:

8 lbs ground beef

6 lbs pork sausage
5 large onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
12 cans (28 oz each) crushed tomatoes
4 tbsp dried oregano
4 tbsp dried basil
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the garnish:

2 lbs grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped
Crusty bread (tons of it!)
Instructions:

Cook the pasta: Bring a massive pot of salted water to a boil (you might need to do this in batches depending on the size of your pots). Cook
the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Make the sauce: In a giant pot, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant. Add ground beef and sausage and cook until browned.
Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 hours until the sauce is thick and rich.
Combine: Once the pasta is cooked and the sauce is ready, toss the pasta into the sauce and mix thoroughly to coat.
Serve: Serve the spaghetti in large bowls, topping with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley. Make sure to have plenty of garlic bread on the side!
