IMPORTANCE OF
RICEFW
RICEFW components help tailor the SAP
system to specific business needs, as every
client has unique processes that may not be
fully covered by standard SAP functionality.
Custom development ensures that the system
integrates smoothly with the client's existing
infrastructure and automates key business
processes.
RICEFW vs. WRICEF
Both RICEFW and WRICEF refer to the same
set of custom development activities in SAP
but are written in different orders:
RICEFW: Reports, Interface, Conversion,
Enhancements, Forms, Workflows
WRICEF: Workflows, Reports, Interface,
Conversion, Enhancements, Forms
The difference in acronym order is often due
to personal preference or the specific
terminology adopted in a project. Both are
used interchangeably in SAP implementation,
especially during the Explore phase of the
project.

standard processes
without altering the
core SAP code.

needs.
F - FORMS

and generate business
documents in custom
formats for printing or
digital use.

not fit the company's requirements.
