Future Devices
When mobile phones first became available in the 1980s people thought they were so high-tech, they
were like something from science-fiction. No one imagined that almost everyone on the planet would
have one. Now in the 21st century, we have smartphones, tablets, laptops, games consoles,
smartwatches and many other high-tech gadgets and devices. But what devices will we have in the
future?
All electronic devices will be digital and will have smart technology. Every new piece of digital electronic
equipment will be connected to the Internet and the cloud. Even products that are not electronic or digital
will have chips or computers in them to make them smart so everything including tables and chairs will
be devices.
Some people believe virtual reality devices will be used with a suit or articles of clothing such as a top or
a pair of gloves that allow the wearer to experience the sense of touch. All of these predictions come
from either science-fiction films or series. The VR sensory suits will offer many benefits apart from
making video games more real. For example, families that are separated by thousands of miles can use
them to hug their loved ones.
In the future, we will have all sorts of gadgets and devices that we cannot begin to imagine. They may
bring lots of benefits or they may have some drawbacks. Whatever happens they will certainly change
our lives maybe even as much as the mobile phone did.
