Responsibilities Handled
Inspection of the Piping, Structural and equipment scope of works of contractors and subcontractors and ensuring
that the works as per agreed project specification procedure and schedule.
Walk through inspection of the Piping Loops during Mechanical Clearance and raising Punch list if any deviation
found with respect to updated approved drawings.
Conduct walk through inspection for each completed piping loops for OSBL/ISBL/BATTERY LIMIT area prior to
mechanical acceptance and client inspection.
Performing inspection of modification works executed on various refinery units on requests of operation and
maintenance team of concerned unit.
Performing walk through inspection on various refinery units and reflect the company standard Log Book
(OBSERVATION/RECOMMENDATION/ACTION)
Attending Thickness Survey of piping and equipment and maintain the corresponding logbook.
To witness the holiday and continuity Inspection test of piping.
To check the wrapping coatings of U/G piping works.
To witness the Spark Test of rubber coated vessels.
To witness the hydro test of piping and heat exchanger.
Conducting various Non Destructive Tests such as U.T, DPT, MPT and R.T.
Hardness testing of seamless pipes through Hardness Testing Machine.
Inspection of pressure vessels during Pre, Post and Hydro test.
Pre, Post, Burner Inspection of Heaters and Boilers and Diesel Chalk Test of Tanks.
Gasket Inspection for piping, Valves and Flanged joints.
Blasting and Painting Inspection of piping, Tanks and Vessels and monitoring the Dry Film Thickness Values are
within the acceptable ranges.
Feedback on major problems, Ensure Corrective Action and Proactive approach to prevent mistakes.
Maintaining Tank History Cards as per walk through inspection
Coordination with various refinery operation personnel regarding inspections.
Attending meeting with refinery operation heads and resolving issues related to Inspection department.
Performing periodic inspection of various refinery units.
Representation of Inspection Department during T.P.M audit
Confirming the piping system confirms with flow diagram, valve access and types, tie-in point connection and vent
drain location to verify the completeness of the system.
Ensure and document that construction and installation works comply with regulations, standards and project
specifications.
Responsible for the system definition of TIE IN in and other existing plant lines by marking up the P&ID and
shorting up the test limit.
Full execution coverage of all TIE in activities in conformance with the approved construction method statements.
Discussion and confirmation to design team if any alteration, as built, suit to site, and modification, support location
transfer etc. in the isometric drawings.
Maintaining overall coordination with interface department Ensuring all the hot work , NDE , associated and
non-associated Piping Supports , Line routing ,approved as built drawing as per suit to site conditions are completed
prior to Hydro test of piping loops.
Cross verification of Line History Sheet (Welding Joint Details) with respect to Isometric drawing and ensuring
that all the NDT accepted and joints are in exposed condition prior to Hydro test.
Guide the contractor and Subcontractors personnel to ensure they are performing all the works to agreed standard
for Safety, health and environment and to attaining high level of HSE performance.
Ensuring all the inspection for the related loop is completed and NCR (if any) has been closed, all the repairs and
punch points has been attended along with retesting of NDE has been completed &accepted prior to hydro testing.
Assisting the Inspection and client inspection team during hydro testing of piping system.
Attending weekly meeting with immediate construction superior and subcontractor site in charge.
Witness of hydro test and pneumatic test of piping system prior to pre commissioning.
Discussion and confirmation to design team if any alteration, as built, suit to site, and modification, support location
transfer etc. in the isometric drawings.
Maintaining overall coordination with interface department Review look ahead schedule and ensure future work /
discipline/interface issues are resolved.
Carryout inspection surveillance and witnessing of contractor`s activities and ensuring all the data, documents, as

of pipe supports, fittings, valves etc. are at proper location as well as orientation, and quantity as per approved latest
revision of drawing before releasing for final Tie In..
Site surveillance to check the construction works and give proper comments if necessary according to project
standard installation methodology.
Maintaining various quality related documents in terms of smooth installation in specific time frame.
Review and checking the complete plan to be installed and to be able to perform the easiest way to perform the
field fabrication and erection activities with safety and no damage of piping and its component in brown field
facilities.
Checking the Fit up, site as built& modifications, routing, alignment, supports categories and location, vent and
drain points, valve approachable position and expansion loops location and pipe lying on rack piping.
Preliminary welding inspection activities (Fit up, root, intermediate and hot pass, material trace ability,
dimensional checking and orientation checking of piping components).
Checking and ensuring that all joints are well exposed for NDE and pressure test.
Confirm the repairs are re tested before hydro testing of piping.
Verification of closed punch listed items for unit and offsite piping works and conduct walk through inspection
for each completed piping system prior to mechanical acceptance.
Confirming the piping system confirms with flow diagram to verify the completeness of system in all respects.
Initiate NCR ,RFI for all quality oriented activities which does not meet project standard and specification
Inspecting the overall activities as per ASME B 31.3, ASTM, ANSI, IBR TEMA and Project standard
&Specifications.
Preparation of hydro test pack, line history sheet and line test records.
Witness of hydro test and pneumatic test of piping system prior to pre commissioning.
Responsible for the system definition of TIE IN Point and other existing plant lines by marking up the P&ID and
shorting up to the test limit.
Full Inspection coverage of all TIES in activities in conformance with the approved construction method
statements.
Visiting various refinery units for tie in connection with existing lines.
Stick adherence of oil and gas safety rules and regulations.

Record and document any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program (PQP) and the Company Integrated
Management System (CIMS).
Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out expediently.
Generate client Requests for Inspection (RFI) where required providing notice.
To provide site surveillance during site works activities and ensure that proper codes and specifications followed
on every stages of the works.
Coordinate to subcontractors, Clients on multiple site related issues.
To perform walk through inspection during site works activities.
Making Punch list and ensure the job completeness prior to test.
Review of the necessary documents attached in the hydro test package.
Hydro Test Package Review before the test.
Witness of Hydro and Pneumatic works at site and verify the test limit as per attached P&ID and Isometric Drawing.
Making NCR if any violation found during site Surveillance.
Witness and documentation for reinstatement.
Coordination with the turn over team while making final hand over dossiers for client submission.
Verify the fabricated spools are as per revised approved drawings.
To check that the fabricated spools are as per drawing its orientations are correct and the fittings, flanges, OLETS
are correct having ratings, metallurgy and directions are as per drawing.
Documentation of dispatched spools and match with site priority.
Ensure that all the NDT activities accepted.
Ensure the dimensional accuracy of the spools.
To check that proper stencilling on every spools and proper tag have been provided addition to permanent marker
written items.
Perform hundred percent inspection to each and every spools required by site before client inspection.
Random checking with SAIPEM & ARAMCO representative as per their choice.
To check that all the fabricated spools have been segregated and arranged as per ARAMCO standard procedure in
the spool lay down area.
Report the damage condition to construction team on immediate basis and take the corrective action.
Inspection of piping and equipment on various refinery units.
Interpretation of material against B.O.M on receipt of fabrication.
Ensuring identification and traceability throughout the stages of fabrication.
Interpretation, Verification and documentation of fabrication Shop.
To review the relevant documents prior to start of the work.
Review subcontractor’s documentation to ensure accurate records are kept and retrievable.
To ensure that verification and inspection activities are carried out as per approved Quality Control Plans,

Prepare reports and quality records for inspection finding and develop recommendations on completed systems to
assure correct installation per design specifications.
Generates repair/upgrade modification recommendations based on observations.
Prepare, update and submit relevant inspection reports, such as inspection schedule, request for inspection summary
report, Non Conformance Summary (NCR) report, Material receiving and Inspection Report.
Performing stage wise inspection activities during Piping fabrication and erection works and inducting the
subcontractors about any project standard violations
Proper coverage of subcontractors during their miscellaneous construction activities.
Witness of hydro and Pneumatic testing of unit piping.
Flange, Gasket, nuts and bolt material verification as per size, ratings, categories and services and witness of bolt
and hydra torque verification of flange joint assembly.
Preparing necessary Punch List and its verification after execution.
Reinstatement of OSBL and ISBL Piping works and highlighting the balance works.
Assisting PMT/PID/Proponent & Operational team during their walkthrough inspection and explaining to them
regarding the specific jobs.
Raising RFIs to PMT and PID team with respective activities.
Submitting Unit and PMCC Number wise hand over dossiers to client (SPIE & YASREF) and implementing the
necessary punch point in respective regard.
Inspection and documentation of Base line thickness and OSI survey reports.
Worked as HAND OVER COORDINATOR and verification of discipline wise turn over dossiers for final hand
over to Owner.
Coordinating multiple disciplines on their respective scope of project records to segregate discipline wise documents
for final hand over.
Preparing the punch list if any deviation carried out by construction team in piping spool fabrication , support
installation, flange type and quantity ,dimensional accuracy etc. during fabrication and confirming the attended
items prior to final RFI raised to QA/QC team.
Checking the weld mapping and spool marking in the piping isometric drawing.
To review the method statements of multiple activities.
Reviewing Quality Inspection Plan, Quality Procedures and Construction method statements.
Material receiving inspection performed as per client standard, verification of Mill Test Certificates, Purchase order,
Delivery note, Vendor approval etc.
Periodic Inspection of materials its storage conditions, techniques, handling and all the favourable parameters as
per standard.
Raising and closing of RFIs based on shop and site daily surveillance.
Reinstatement of flange joints, bolt torque, permanent gaskets, nuts and bolt assembly installation.
Implementing the QA/QC management system at site.
Review and Inspecting the Piping Cutting List (PCL) & Spool Production Order (SPO) of isometric drawing prior
to fabrication.
Verify the quality related site activities are accordance with codes and standards.
Maintaining all QA/QC related documents of all ongoing piping spool production.
Inspection of various piping spools production shop floor activities like proper material identification,
dimensional accuracy, fit-up checking, alignment and spools storage in the spool yard etc.
Assisting the Material Inspection team for damage, dimension, corrosion and ensuring that all supporting
documents are available and as per requirements.
Ensuring periodic inspection and proper protection of pipes, fitting segregation in the Lay down and storage area,
and providing the correct segregation technique with respect to material properties, service, colour code and
utilization priorities etc.
Verify materials as per fitting and pipe mill certificate.
Daily wise surveillance to Fabrication shop during PMI for alloy and Stainless Steel Materials and maintaining
the test records.
Documentation of each fabrication activities from fit up to welding and spool despatch in company standard
format.
Ensure proper spool traceability before sending to site for erection.
Ensuring proper material identification, verifying proper size and schedule of pipe, rating, categories, and faces of
flange and OLETS as per Material Take off List and Updated Isometric Drawings approved for construction.
