Sir Ferds
Sir Ferds
Sir Ferds
unconditionally, celebrates victories, treats with such grace and humbleness ---
which is all of the characteristics you inhibit. Not only you became our office
head, but became the biggest supporter and cheerleader to remind that we are above
every struggle we go through and worthy to live a great life.
As employees who stepped into the corporate world, it was expected to witness a
boss in suit who would get straight into work with a no-nonsense attitude. So you
can imagine our relief when we saw you in a casual wear with a big smile on your
face welcoming us to your team. There have been so many times where you have
genuinely tried to connect with us at a personal level despite corporate culture
becoming apathetic and insensitive to life beyond 8 to 5. Thank you for taking that
step on us. You believed in growing and achieving together and not in judgements of
good or bad.
Behind all your at ease demeanor, we have gained a wealth of knowledge from working
with you that we will always value. You have consistently highlighted the need of
performing "value-providing work", as opposed to work for work's sake. It is this
mindset of yours that is always on the lookout for a genuine skill in your
employees that can be valuable to the entire team.
In every student's situation, you make it a point to constantly inquire about the
conditions to consider for the welfare and development of each student in our
Campus. You showed us that it wasn't always about finding the right response or
solution in each test or trial that the Office encountered, hence, it was about
hearing the other side out and appreciating their viewpoints. It was about working
together and being welcoming of people with different degrees of expertise and
seniority.
It was about being inclusive and collaborative irrespective of seniority and
experience levels.
And while most are like cooks who stick to the recipe of job responsibilities and
employee CVs provided to them, you were like a chef who understood the power of
underlying elements and not recipes. You discovered what we can be good at, picked
that skill and used it to create an entirely new recipe (job responsibility) for
us. As employees, this kind of mental thought is nothing less than motivating for
us, as we are aware of how we are trusted with work, valued and rewarded for our
unique expertise and not for mediocrity. Thank you, Sir for your faith in us.
You are a man of so many god-giving facets, and your counsel and words of wisdom
come from deep down in your heart and nothing less. An all-around kind, driven,
perceptive, modest and considerate person. Something a workplace needs a lot more
of. You showed us what can happen when you give your all into something and
encouraged us to see the light at the end of the tunnel in spite of circumstances.
You inspired us to stay focused and to pull out the positive aspects of everything
and inspired us to inspire others.
