The article likely addresses the legal, social, and practical dimensions of ensuring inclusive education for
children with disabilities in Malaysia. It examines either Malaysia's education system is upholding the rights
of disabled children, as mandated by international frameworks. The article analyses the Malaysia’s laws,
such as the “Persons with Disabilities Act 2008” and the “Education Act 1996”, and whether they adequately
protect the educational rights of children with disabilities. Next, it explores on the availability and quality of
inclusive education, including mainstream schools, special education programs, and support services. In
addition, the challenges and barriers that children with disabilities face in accessing education, including
infrastructure issues, lack of trained educators, social stigma, and inadequate funding are being discussed,
too. To address the issues, the author suggested the recommendations to improve the situation including to
strengthen the protection of educational rights, such as policy reforms, increased funding, capacity-building
programs for educators, and better enforcement of existing laws.
