    If you notice that your first monthly payment is double the amount, it's because your down payment amount
    includes the first and last installments of your policy term. As a result, your first year will only show 11 monthly
    payments. When you renew your policy, we'll go back to 12 monthly payments.

    YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT STATEMENT: FAQs

    1. How do I update or change my payment method?


    It's easy - just log in to "My Account" at sonnet.ca and choose your new payment method. You can change your
    payment method at any time.

    2. Can I change my payment plan?


    You can, definitely - but it can only be done on your renewal date.

    3. How do I update my withdrawal date?


    To change your payment withdrawal date, just log in to "My Account" at sonnet.ca. You can make a withdrawal
    date change once during your effective policy period. If you need to make additional updates, please contact
    1-844-766-6384 to discuss options.

    4. What do I do if the credit card attached to my account is about to expire?


    To update a credit card that's about to expire, log in to "My Account" at sonnet.ca and provide your new credit
    card information. The good news is, if we notice your card is about to expire, we'll send you a reminder in
    advance.

    5. Are there any NSF Fees?


    Depending on which payment method you choose, fees may apply if your payment is returned for non-sufficient
    funds.

    6. What are service fees?


    Customers that choose monthly payments will be charged an additional service fee.

    7. How are my taxes determined?


    Applicable taxes are calculated for individual policies, and may vary province to province.

    8. Will my policy be cancelled if I miss a payment?


    Depending on your province and type of insurance, your policy may be cancelled if you have a second missed
    payment during the same policy term. We will provide you with information via registered letter. If you are
    cancelled for non-payment, we will give you the legal amount of days' notice before your policy is terminated.

    Note: We reserve the right to report outstanding amounts to the credit bureau if your balance owing has been
    assigned to our collection agency.
