Giggs’s body is thin and frail as he has a diet predominantly based around
cheese, wine, cigarettes and all the fine foods of the world.
His attunement with Sanamancy has altered his body in various ways: His
eyes have turned from purple to an almost luminescent green, and his skin
appears more youthful and waxy, hiding the negative marks of his
alcoholism, smoking and drug usage. The most significant change is his
ability to photosynthesise, allowing him to go for weeks without eating as
long as he is in direct contact with the sun.
Giggs is far from fitness. He does not exercise much, making him frailer in
frame than most of his peers, even for an elf. He covers his natural frame
with large, eccentric, yet fashionable clothes.

Personality:
Extroverted and eccentric but driven with a tendency towards obsession,
addiction and mental instability. This drive is as a result of the high
pressure and intensely competitive, academic environment that he grew up
in; always being pushed to greater lengths in the name of perfection. For
the sake of staying on top, Giggs will gladly abandon his previous
convictions in pursuit of power. This constant, nagging drive in the back of
his mind has allowed him to rise to the top of any social ladder that he
finds himself at. From the shores of West Arkasios to the halls of the
USFP, Giggs has climbed tooth and nail to the very peak using his intellect,
blackmail and manipulation. These methods mean that Giggs never has an
honest victory on fair grounds.

As mentioned previously, Giggs is an extrovert (narcissist), a real socialite

(attention hog) in Karthusian society. He regularly attends parties, debates
and meetings of all kinds, seemingly just because he enjoys the company.
Giggs attends all these parties for the sake of eating free food from a vast
and varied selection from across Solaris. You see, Giggs is a massive
foodie in spite of the fact that he can get most of the nutrients he needs to
survive from photosynthesis. He consumes so much fine food, it is more
akin to addiction rather than a need to attain sustenance. On the point of
addiction Giggs is also an alcoholic, like any good Karthusian gentleman.
Of course, as the self proclaimed “Most Cultured Man in all of Solaris''
(mostly jokingly) he feels the compulsive need to shove mountains of
unneeded facts about wine down the throats of people around him; a
compulsion that naturally increases in intensity the more he gets sloshed.

Being a researcher in the USFP Giggs is quite the polymath, being

educated and knowledgeable in many fields of study. He also had a great
love of travelling and spent a lot of his time moving around Solaris to
research all kinds of interesting topics. You would think that this would
make him highly attractive in Karthusian society due to their focus on
academic affairs. However, Giggs is actually considered to be quite

effeminate and unappealing as he is seen as “too smart” by Karthusian
social standards for a man. His fashion sense does not help his reputation
in Karthusian society. Giggs loves the baroque style; big frills adorned with
silk, lace and high heels, all things that are stereotypically seen as
effeminate and extravagant by Karthusian society. Instead of function over
form, Giggs prefers form over function in complete juxtaposition to the
expectations of Karthusian Society. Giggs however, cares little for these
conceptions of himself, using every opportunity to show off his vanity with
this style. However, despite the paradoxical relation he has with Karthusian
Society, Giggs is a Karthus supremacist, believing all other cultures to be
vastly inferior to his own.

Giggs lives a very flippant life, apathetic to most people and only ever
doing the things that he wants to do. Very rarely will he step up to do
something that he deems “annoying” or “Boring” and if forced to do so, he
will complain momentarily before begrudgingly going about his business.
Even then if he sees an easy way out he will take it in a heartbeat,
sometimes going into more trouble than the task at hand just so that he
does not have to do it. This attitude to life has led to his many addictions as
they drown out the boredom of his day to day life. However, Giggs would
gladly use all his power to dispatch someone that threatens his place in the
social and political power even at the cost of his enjoyment.

Most of Giggs’ negative traits-his paranoia of losing power, bizarre and

unusual thinking, destructive and flippant lifestyle-began to appear when
he started to use Malumancy. In order to climb the ladder in West Araksios,
Giggs sought out the foul art of Malumancy as a fear tactic and a means to
disguise his appearance for intel gathering. Giggs firmly believed that he
was “built differently” and wouldn’t be affected by the mind destroying
properties of the magic, only to be entranced by the power in a twist of
irony.

Giggs appears to be apathetic to everyone and everything around him but
this is actually a political tactic to avoid exposing his emotional weakness
to his family. To this day, Giggs has kept a close eye on those around him,
making sure they do not get too close to his enemies. A prime example of
this is his son, Inijo, the only survivor of the fire that killed his wife and
eldest son. Giggs has forced Inijo to enrol in the USFP when he returned
from fighting for shifter rights to maintain a watchful eye on the boy. He
did not stop him from fighting for his form of justice.

Being the head of the largest company in Solaris, Giggs lives for profit. He
deeply enjoys watching his figures go up from a good deal or scam.
Ironically, this love of profit is the greatest thing restraining his wild
rampages. He does not kill people, primarily because he believes that
living people are more profitable than dead ones, excluding loose ends of
course.

Giggs is a Compulsive and Pathological liar. He lies regularly, maintaining

a web of lies at all times for both gain and his own amusement. These lies
vary in quality depending on their use. Lies he makes up for fun often tend
to be less thought through and humorous in nature. For example, he claims
that his pet monkey is “holding him hostage” as an excuse to get out of
board meetings to get drunk.

Religion:
Giggs is a stalwart Atheist, firmly believing that any god and any religion
is completely unworthy of his following or his praise. He considers all
rituals and prayers as the complete nonsensical and unscientific babbling of
illiterate buffoons. After all, why on Gaeia would I ever bow down to an
entity lesser than myself?

However, during his time in the West Arkasios Trading Company he found
an interest in an individual with an occult following, Ekaj. While he is not
a devotee, he would be willing to follow him for the right incentive.

Family:

Grandfather:
Rnai Chitinni was Giggs’ Grandfather and father of Trna Chitinni. He died
on the second of Messidor, 1583FS. Trna and Rnai had a strained
relationship due to the tense relationship between Rnai and Trna. He
moved from Caedia to Karthus due to unfortunate family circumstances in
his youth.

Giggs, like his father, also had a strained relationship with his Grandfather.
In his Grandfather’s eyes, Giggs is a massive disappointment. He thought
that Giggs was too weak and effeminate to be worthy of being his family
and as such disowned him.

Grandmother:
Lact Chitinni was Giggs’ Grandmother and the mother of Trna Chitinni.
She died shortly after the birth of Premrna in 1524FS. Giggs never knew
his Grandmother due to this and her death strained the relations between
Rnai and his children. She was a Feketi Dark Elf from Sicarius.

Aunts/Uncles:
❖ Phloe Chitinni is Giggs’ Aunt, Mother to Facili and Cotra and the
twin sister to Giggs’ Father. Phloe and Trna were close growing up
and remain close to this day, so Giggs’ relation with her has always
been close.

❖ Cholest Chitinni is Giggs’ Uncle through his marriage to Phloe. He

is the Father of Facili and Cotra. They’ve always been close.

❖ Premrna Chitinni is Giggs’ Aunt. She was always a free spirit and
left the nest as soon as she could. Giggs has had little contact with
her.

Cousins:
❖ Facili Chitinni is the Eldest Son of Phloe and Cholest. He entered the
Golden Eagle Guard as a logistician. They were always close with
Giggs during their childhood, essentially growing up alongside them
alongside their sister.

❖ Cotra Chitinni is the Youngest Daughter of Phloe and Cholest. She

decided to migrate and work in the West Arkasios Trading
Company.They were always close with Giggs during their childhood,
essentially growing up alongside them alongside their brother.

❖ Rnai Chitinni is the only son of Premrna, as far as Giggs Knows. He

has only met Rnai once in his youth during a family gathering.

Mother:
Xyl Chitinni is Giggs’ mother.

She has always been a bit distant from her son, not due to a bad
relationship but due to her love for her work. She works as a librarian in
the University Grand Library, her dream job from when she was a child in
Sicarius.

Much rather than a nurturing maternal figure, Giggs perceives his mother
as a person to be idolised and respected like a general in the army. Giggs
deeply respects and adores his mother for her work ethic and position in
the University. However he does feel some resentment towards her for the
neglect she has shown towards him.

Father:
Trna Chitinni is Giggs’ Father and the son of Rnai Chitinni.
Giggs was always close with his father growing up, or atleast closer to his
father than he was to his mother. Unlike her, his father actually set aside
time from his work to spend with the boy when he was growing up.
Despite his best efforts, Trna was unable to stop or slow down Giggs’ wild
and duel filled youth. In spite of his disposition towards his son getting into
illegal duels, always made sure to tend to the boy after every duel, making
sure that he was fully healed before he rushed back out to fight it out with
another person.
Similar to Giggs, Trna was also a troubled and reckless child, probably the
reason why he was so accepting of his son’s behaviour. And just like
Giggs, he too met someone that set him down the right path, just with a
less tragic outcome than his Son’s whirlwind romance.
Today, Trna is a board director for the University of Scholarly Findings
and Philosophies. He lives a relatively mellow life of the upper middle
class Karthusian.

❖ Silvia Chitinni Alvare

Description:
Silvia Chitinni Alvare, originally
Silvia Alvare Acosta, was a Human
of High Arkasian descent from West
Arkasios. She came to Karthus in
1557 to study in the Colletis District,
now the Effectivus District, of the
USFP. She met Giggs in 1558 when
he joined a year earlier to study in
the Veneum. They married the next
year.
Giggs’ relationship with Silvia is the most genuine of all his relationships.
During their time together, Giggs never attempted to approach anyone else for
intimate relations, unlike his other spouses. You could argue that his future
problems all stem from her death and the ways he attempted to heal unhealthily
from her loss.
In life, Sivlia was a gentle but firm person with a strict sense of justice. She
loved listening to Giggs ramble on and on about whatever he was interested in,
savouring the debates they’d have over nothing. At times Giggs wonders if he
took her for granted, instead of savouring every little moment they had in each
other’s company. However, she lived everyday as if it were her last and one day
it was; so, at the very least, he knows that she lived her best until her last.He can
see a lot of her in his son, Inijo. It is more painful than comforting.
The only thing Giggs has left of Silvia is a locket. A small, ornate and burnt
brass locket that he keeps on himself. He originally wanted to get it in gold, as it
matched her eyes, but she insisted that gold would be too much for her, choosing
brass instead. When he gave it to her, she insisted that Giggs could never look at
what she put inside, unless she was dead. He said she shouldn’t joke like that.
Inside, there is a picture of him holding Inijo. He learnt this by scraping through
the ruins of their house a day after the fire. Like an image from the holy texts, it
was the only thing that truly remained in the wake of the flames. He keeps it on
him at all times and will risk life and limb to keep it safe.

❖ Basilio Franco
{Married: 25th Messidor 1574 - Died: 5th Thermidor 1575}
Description:
Basilio Franco was a tiefling from West Arkasios that ran a large
gang in the neighbouring sector to Giggs. They met in 1573 when a
debtor that owed the both of them a large sum of money refused to
pay up, forcing them both to hunt them down together. From then on,
They shared a mutually beneficial relationship that culminated in an
unofficial marriage in 1574. One year later, Basilio was killed under
mysterious circumstances. Some argue that Giggs killed Basilio for
his own ends, claiming that he never truly loved Basilio and was
merely using him for his own ends. Others claim that Giggs truly did
love Basilio but killed him anyway, his vaulting ambition greater
than any love he felt. Finally, People claim that Giggs never ordered
the hit and it was merely a coincidence. The truth will never truly be
known.

❖ Mademoiselle Marianne Madeleine

{Married: 15th Thermidor 1576 - Killed: 4th Vendemiaire 1578}
Description:
Marianne Madeleine was a human from Karthus who moved to West
Arkasios in 1574 where she met Giggs. Being of similar origins she
hit it off with Giggs, eventually marrying him in 1576 but not before
having two children with him. Unfortunately, she was discovered to
have been embezzling massive funds from the Trade Company. For
her crimes against the company Giggs had her executed and her
children given to the company orphanage.

❖ Philip Chitinni Alvare (M 1560)
Birth: 13th of Prairial, 1560
Mother: Silvia Chitinni
Status: Deceased on the 8th of Germinal 1564
Description: The firstborn son of Giggs and Silvia, his former wife. He
died in a house fire, burned to a crisp within his mother’s arms. At times,
usually at night, Giggs wonders what it would be like if Philip survived
and not Inijo. He hates that he can think like that.

❖ Inijo Chitinni Alvare (M 1560)

Birth: 1st of Nivose, 1561
Mother: Silvia Chitinni
Status: Alive but in hiding. Aged 23
Description: The second born son Giggs and Silvia Chitinni. He was
spared from the fate of his brother but was horribly burnt in the fire. He
was the only one he was able to save with his Sanamancy. For the next
eight years, Inijo was forced to deal with Giggs’ downward spiral into
alcoholism. In 1573 Giggs gave his son to his parents to raise as he left to
find his fortunes in West Arkasios; Inijo still feels some resentment for this
action. Giggs would not reunite with his son until seven years later in
1580. Two monthss after that, in 1580, Inijo would run away from home.
Giggs could not stop him. He returned in 1583, three years after he had
left, after Shifter rights were achieved and in need of a place to stay. Inijo
has underestimated the influence of his father; not only did he give him a
place to stay, he also granted him a place in the university. Under the
orders of Giggs, Inijo is now a scholarship student at the USFP, though
under the strict observance of his father.
Despite what Giggs might say, he does actually care about his son, deeply.
They are his one and only weakness. His neglect of his son is due to his
feelings of inadequacy in raising him, not disappointment of him.

❖ January Ryūnosuke (F 1572)
Birth: 1st of Vendemiaire, 1572
Mother: Ryoko Ryūnosuke
Status: Alive, Living with her mother in Porthos
Description: The eldest daughter of Giggs and Ryoko, a woman he
met on his way to West Arkasios in Porthos when she was working
as a waiter in an inn he was staying in. They hit it off and January
was born shortly after he left. Giggs learnt of their existence when he
ran into Ryoko during his stay in Porthos before the events of Season
4 Chapter 1. Surprisingly, Ryoko didn’t ask for any child support and
just wanted to raise January in peace. Giggs respects her wishes but
keeps an eye on them with Du Reseau to make sure they are safe.

❖ Monet Madeleine (M 1575)

Birth: 1 of Brumaire, 1575
Mother: Mademoiselle Madeleine
Status: Alive, living in an orphanage
Description: The eldest son of Giggs and Marianne. Giggs never
really cared for the boy and cared even less for him when Madeleine
betrayed him. Rather than outright killing the boy, Giggs sent him off
to an orphanage in Kitsumachi, Karthus, the place where Madeleine
grew up. Today, Monet lives peacefully in Kitsumachi with nothing
but a letter to remember his father or his mother. He will likely never
find Giggs.

❖ Bernard Fischer (M 1575)

Birth: 1 of Firmaire 1575
Mother: Frau Fischer
Status: Alive, living in Hreinngar
Description: The oldest child between Frau and Giggs. Frau worked
alongside Giggs as a bodyguard. They hit it off and had Bernard.
Frau eventually returned home with Bernard and Ferdinand.

❖ Juliet Bianchi (F 1575)
Birth: 1 of Nivose 1575
Mother: Bianca Bianchi
Status: Deceased, died in the siege in Karthus.
Description: The only child between Giggs and Bianca. Giggs met
Bianca when she worked for him as an accountant. One thing led to
another and Bianca was born. She left West Arkasios soon after.
They were both casualties of the Siege of Karthus in 1583. While
Giggs did not know Bianca well, nor did he care much for Juilet, he
still wept for them when they died.

❖ Guilliam Benaux (M 1575)

Birth: 1 of Pluviose 1575
Mother: Béatrice Benaux
Status: Deceased, killed by bandits alongside their mother
Description: The only child between Béatrice and Giggs. Beatrice
met Giggs, of whom had assumed the title of “El Queso Grande '' by
this point, when she was working as a bartender in West Arkasios.
They got Jiggy (Giggy) with it, and Beatrice had Guilliame. Beatrice
left West Arkasios in 1579 and moved back to Karthus to inherit her
parent’s farm. They were killed in the night during the year of 1581
by bandits, taking most of their wealth. Giggs sent a hit out of them
which has not been fulfilled to this day.

❖ Ulysses Amadeus (M 1575)

Birth: 1 of Ventose 1575
Mother: Serena Amadeus
Status: Deceased, blown overboard during their voyage back to
Porthos.
Description: The only child between Giggs and Serana Amadeus.
Serana had the child and ran back to Porthos. Unfortunately, the pair
were swept off ship during their travel back, killing them both
instantly. Giggs did not learn of this until some time later.

Description: The only child of Juliet Rossi and Giggs. They were
caught in a horrible ‘accident’ alongside their mother when Juilet
threatened to reveal their existence to the world as a means to
blackmail Giggs.

❖ Vondi Freyasson (M 1575)

Birth: 1 of Floreal 1575
Mother: Freya Haraldsson
Status: Alive, living with their mother in Hrothgar
Description: Giggs met Freya during a business trip in Hrothgar,
where she owned the inn he was staying in. They live happily and
peacefully in Hrothgar, or as well as you can in Hrothgar, still
maintaining the same Inn Giggs stayed in during his time in
Hrothgar.

❖ Torger Aaberg (M 1575)

Birth: 1 of Priarial 1575
Mother: Astrid Aaberg
Status: Alive
Description: Giggs met Astrid on the same business trip where he
met Freya, albeit they met in Hreinngar. Astrid was working as a
guard in the city of naerem where she caught Giggs drunk in public.
She initially tried to arrest Giggs for public intoxication, but was
surprised when, instead of resisting arrest, Giggs asked when she got
off work.
This worked… Somehow…
Astrid had Torger a bit later. They live in Naerem with Astrid still
working as a Guard.

Birth: 1 of Thermidor 1575
Mother: Cornelia Amadeus
Status: Deceased
Description: The only child between Cornelia Amadeus and Giggs.
Cornelia is the older sister of Serena, mentioned above. She returned
back to Porthos alongside her sister on the same boat, dying
alongside them.

❖ Orlando Filigroso (M 1575)

Birth: 1 of Messidor 1575
Mother: Bella Bianchi
Status: Deceased
Description: The only child between Bella Bianchi and Giggs. Bella
is the elder sister of the aforementioned Bianca Bianchi. Unlike her
sister, Bella remained in West Arkasios but was killed during a
robbery gone wrong, alongside her son.

❖ Noella Boudet (F 1575)

Birth: 1 of Fructidor 1575
Mother: Eugénie Boudet
Status: Deceased
Description: The only daughter between Giggs and Eugenie Boudet.
She is deceased, stillborn. Eugenie left for Kitsumachi, Karthus after
the loss. They have not spoken since.

❖ Eloise Gérin-Lajoie (F 1576)

Birth: 1 of Vendemiaire, 1576
Mother: Débora Gérin-Lajoie
Status: Deceased
Description: The only child between Giggs and Debora. Eloise died
alongside her mother on the way home from West Arkasios from
brigands on the road. After this Giggs set up additional patrols to
protect caravans and traders.

Description: The second son between Frau Fischer and Giggs. They
are living happily alongside their Mother and older brother in
Hreinngar. Giggs has not spoken to them since as he knows they’re
living better without him.

❖ Quetzalli (F 1576)
Birth: 1 of Firmaire 1576
Mother: Citlalli
Status: Alive, living in an orphanage in West Arkasios
Description: The only Child between Giggs and Citlalli. Citlalli was
an immigrant from Duskalia who came to work for Giggs as a hired
muscle. Unfortunately, Citlalli died protecting Giggs. Their daughter
was sent to an orphanage in West Arkasios.

❖ Xanthe Maniake (M 1576)

Birth: 1 of Nivose 1576
Mother: Theodora Maniake
Status: Deceased
Description: The only child between Theodora and Giggs. Theodora
and Xanthe died alongside each other during a horrible boating
accident while they were out fishing.

❖ Abigail Marshton (F 1576)

Birth: 1 of Nivose 1575
Mother: Katherine Marshton
Status: Alive
Description: The only child between Giggs and Katherine Marshton.
Giggs met Abigail when she was working as a librarian in West
Arkasios. She reminded him of Silvia and then Abigail happened.
They have not spoken since.

Mother: Sulama el-Kaiser
Status: Deceased
Description: Sulama el-Kaier was a con artist that tried to scam
Giggs. It did not go to plan and Giggs ended up tricking her instead.
Impressed, they spent the night. When Zion was born, Sulama
decided that they would not burden Giggs with their raising and fled
into the night. Giggs let this happen out of the kindness of his heart.
Unfortunately, Sulama continued down their con artistry ways and
was killed in a deal gone wrong and Zion was caught in the crossfire.
Giggs learnt of this some time later but did nothing.

❖ Wrenlee Schrötter (F 1576)

Birth: 1 of Germinal 1576
Mother: Emily Schrötter
Status: Deceased
Description: Wrenlee Schrötter is the only daughter between Giggs
and Emily Schrötter. Emily Schrötter was a promising mercenary
from Hreinngar that moved to West Arkasios to find work. She found
Giggs drunk in a shady bar on the edge of town shortly after the
death of Basilio. After finding him drunk, she decided to take the
drunkard home with her to make sure that he did not hurt himself and
have a drink while she was at it. While Giggs doesn’t remember
much of what happened that night, supposedly he was so charming
that she invited him back.
Shortly after this, Giggs began to spend increasingly more time with
Emily, going on dates, nights out at the bar or just hanging around
her house. When Wrenlee was born, Emily refused to get married as
she did not believe in it. This entire time, she did not know that
Giggs was the elusive el queso grande.
Unfortunately, Giggs’ enemies from the company discovered
Wrenlee and Emily, killing them in their own home. When Giggs

Pets:
❖ Waddles
Waddles was an amputee golden retriever that Giggs owned. Due to
its lack of legs it waddled around instead of walking, thus giving its
name. However, waddles ran away when Giggs was young, leaving
nothing but a memory. However, he walked back into his life when
he rolled down a hill into a wild rabbit den, to be mangled to death
before his eyes. He has got lifelong trauma from this event!

❖ Brie (the cat)

Brie is a cat that traumatised Giggs when he was young by biting his
left pinky toe off. He decided to take the cat home with him as
punishment for its sins. The cat has been traumatised ever since.

❖ Camembert (the other cat)

This cat decided to break into Giggs’ house one day, traumatising
Giggs from the attack of the vicious cat burglar. The cat has not left
ever since as it is, in his own words, ‘holding him hostage.’ It makes
for a convenient excuse to not have to attend University board
meetings.

❖ Cheddar (the 3 year old cheese wheel)

This is literally just a wheel of cheese (15ft in circumference) that
giggs left in his bag for the past three years. He was traumatised
when he saw his beloved 3 year old cheese wheel being mangled by
devious and evil rodents before his very eyes.

❖ Mineral Rocky “the Stoner” “Crag-Ore” “as big as a

Boulder-Finger” Chitinni (former third favourite son)
This is a pebble. He lost it to Billy-Bob who ate it and shot it during
a university lecture. He was the Pebble’s hostage and accomplice in
his plan for world domination, until Billy-Bob ‘freed’ him from his
oppressor, until he replaced him. This has traumatised Giggs.

❖ Billy-Bob the 5th (the 15th of his name, third favourite son by
elimination)
One day, Giggs got really, really drunk and “woke up” in Duskalia
where he had married a monkey and had Billy Bob as his kid. He
then woke up back in his office with a strange monkey staring
intently at him. Since then Billy-Bob has had Giggs as a hostage and
unwilling accomplice in his crime of academic impersonation. He is
forever traumatised by this event.
This, of course, was just one of Giggs’ tall tales he tells people for
his own amusement. He actually purchases Billy-Bob from a trader
in Kononagari so he could set the monkey up as a professor in the
USFP. The reason behind this effort? No one knows. Some think it is
so he could teach multiple subjects at once. Others think it was to
send a message to those in the University Board, flexing his
influence. And even more think it was just for his own amusement.

❖ Bear (the Bear)

This is the bear that Giggs casually has in his basement like any good
Karthusian Citizen. It was trained to maul all orphans within a 20
mile radius by Billy-Bob using his sense of smell. The training didn’t
work and now he just chills on Giggs’ couch, permanently high and
drunk. Giggs was, is and will most likely will continue to be
traumatised by this event.

❖ Favourite son (the Horse)

As described by his glorious name (Favourite Son) Giggs’ horse,
Favourite Son, was, is and will most likely continue to be his
favourite son. This is actually a diversionary attempt to show his
enemies that he cares little for his family, when he actually does.

❖ Nicholas G Valentine
They’re kinda annoying but they are good student. They’d make a
good asset if I were to bring them into the company when they
graduate. They are a good Karthusian, an excellent tool to push for
Karthusian supremacy over the school. Apart from that, they lack
nerve. Every time I see them, they are scampering away in fear from
my approach. The kid needs a good push in the right direction.
Maybe teaching them some dark arts will help them down the right
path…

❖ “Sune”
She is not Karthusian but she has proven to be a capable member of
staff. Every now and again she hints to something darker in her past,
which is annoying. She has shown to be a capable physical
combatant despite their smaller frame. I shall have to investigate
further. However, it is apparent that her position as Headmaster will
be problematic in the future, especially considering her approval or
lack thereof. To prevent future tensions, she should be removed.

❖ Dexter Inobu
Fiesty little fellow who claims to be “Sune’s” younger brother. He
has a good nerve to him, even if he isn’t Karthusian so I quite like
the boy. Perhaps if he grows up to be like his older sister, he’ll be
quite the asset to have at my side. It is probably a good idea to keep
an eye on him.

❖ Martinus Triventius
The biggest thorn in my side to my fun in the USFP. Its like he’s
always watching, appearing at the worst of times. In addition, being
an undead he does not need to sleep! I can’t even sneak out at night
without him prodding me on my activities. Bloomin 'annoying!

❖ Archivist Amihan Agbayani Levesque
Not Karthusian but she does her work fine. Not really much to say,
honestly. She is nothing but stoic and stand offish, which makes her a
good impartial tool for my ends.

❖ Wave Waltz
He’s very unkempt, his sense of style is near non-existent to the point
where he looks homeless. I can’t believe we allowed him into these
hallowed halls of education. That being said, he has proven to be an
enthusiastic student so maybe there is hope for him yet?

❖ Enoki Katharos
A friend of the aforementioned Wave Waltz. I do not interact with
them much but they have proven to be an excellent Sanamancer.
With a little bit of work, I think I could pass along my dark arts to
them, provided they were interested, of course.

❖ Marzia Maximiun
A hot tempered youth with zero chill. They are the daughter of that
Martius fellow down in Porthos and the Porthosians are… Alright by
his standards. That being said, Giggs does not much care for hot
heads but if they increase the relationship between Karthus and
Porthos, that's fine too. However, in the very likely event that they
are on the side of the Porthosians, Giggs will have to keep a close
eye on them for national security.

❖ Adriel
Eh, he’s a rocky boy. Giggs doesn’t have much to say about them,
honestly. They have an excellent nerve when it comes to action but
he has a less than ideal sensibility, having thrown a brick through one
of Giggs’ favourite windows. Best keep a close eye on this one…

❖ Falqeris Sek-ha
Giggs’ family originated from Caedia but he has no sympathy for his
Grandfather’s homeland. They’re a wild and uncontrollable youth,
like a hurricane but with the subtlety to manipulate those around
them with a cool breeze. That being said, they’re a filthy traitor to
the university, having gone to teach in Valegard.

❖ Arina Romanova
Arina is a nervous and flighty student. An excellent tool for my
manipulations. I am sure I can get them to do as I need if I give them
the right push. They are a good asset to keep around.

❖ Jackson Halvorsen
We have only met briefly but one thing stands out to me: his sharp
pointy teeth. I should try to hire him sometime. Those teeth-not to
mention those abs-would make for an excellent cheese grater.

❖ Ethuil Lindir
I met them briefly at the winter ball, dancing with their daughter. I
did not speak much with them but they had some good moves, I
suppose…

❖ Consul Zanloleth
They had excellent rizz.

❖ Lyka Wagan
I met them during my trip to Porthos and during the unfortunate
events in North Castle. The bugger beat me at poker! Me! The best
bloody gambler I know! I swear I shall have my revenge!

❖ Noelle Elmoon
Sune’s new flame, as far as I can tell. Sune has started bringing this
girl around with her everywhere, to the point that it has started to get
annoying. She seems alright, though.

❖ Ahmyr The Blind Archer
In Season 4 Chapter 5, Ahmyr claims to have known Giggs in the
past, claiming him to be “an achieved alchemist back in his day.”
Unbeknownst to Giggs, Ahmyr knew his first wife, Silvia. Since he
did not know of this, he treated Ahmyr rather coldly, even after he
helped him onto a table in his drunken state.

❖ Lieutenant Isaac Ortega

Lieutenna Issac Ortega is one of Giggs’ best supporters in West
Arkasios. They work in administration for him in his sector.
Ortega is a short man with a shorter fuse. He’s a young, brash man
with a strong sense of justice despite his profession in crime. Thus,
he is the quintessential honourable bandito. As a result of his
personality, Ortega regularly gets into trouble with both members of
his gang and other gangs, rushing in head first in the heat of the
moment; yet despite that he has earned the respect of many others.
This respect comes in part from a general appreciation of his
honourable action but also from his nerve and efficiency when put on
the spot.
Giggs’ initially sees the man as nothing more than a brash liability. A
short fuse that is bound to go off at any moment, putting the
foundation that he has built at risk. During a little misadventure
Giggs would learn that he’s actually useful.

to be able to push people in the right direction for his own means.

As mentioned previously, Giggs is a massive foodie. He loves going

Being a nerd of all varieties, Giggs likes writing. Although, most of
his writing in the modern day revolves around his work as the head

Equipment and Skills
Weapon and Armor:
This is a list of every weapon Giggs owns or has owned. It is not a list of
the weapons he actively keeps on his person.

Rapier:
He was given a beautiful rapier from his
Grandfather when he was younger, of
which he used frequently in his youth.

The rapier has a blackened steel base

with a series of intertwined bronze
filigree surrounding the surface of the
hilt. Its handle is coated in fine darkened
Ravenian Bison leather that is held in
place within a cage of blackened steel,
allowing for a better grip. Finally, the
flexible steel blade is edgeless with a
simple sharp pointed tip. Along the side
of the blade is the engraved phrase
“L'ambition engendre la victoire”

As his interests changed, he began to use his rapier less and less until it
essentially became nothing more than decoration. His loss of interest in
duelling in favour of scholarly endeavours is the reason why his
Grandfather considered him to be a disappointment.

The Spring-Lock Uniform

Gauntlet is a gauntlet with a
hidden blade that springs out
to stab an enemy when
activated that is solely used
by the Black Valkyrie
Regiment.

Due to its prevalent use by

the BVR, the gadget’s
existence is naturally top
secret to ensure that its use remains a surprise to their enemies. As such,
the blueprints for this weapon are fragmented into multiple sheets and
encoded in the depths of the USFP archive.

Using what little he could uncover, he was able to decode the encryption
and reverse engineer the item. After obtaining the schematics, he smuggled
the reverse engineered blueprints to the ‘Bogins’ (as he calls them) in West
Araksios, hoping they could improve the design to better suit his needs.
They sent him a version of the SLUG that could fire Mana Nullifying
Serum Bolts as well as a hidden blade.

Fortunately, Giggs has never had to use this item in combat and primarily
uses the blade as a wine key and a bottle opener. He also uses it as a neat
party trick to show off to his friends.

Planty “Mac Plantface” Chitinni:
Planty is a “Sicilii muscipula”
(colloquially known as the “Triventus
Flytrap”) Giggs purchased during his
stay in Porthos in the events of Season
4 Chapter 1. It played a vital role in his
escape from the nation as he used his
Sanamancy to cause “Mac Plantface” to
entangle and consume his attackers. For
its duty, Giggs officially adopted it as
his son.

Sword Breaker Parrying Dagger:

A Parrying Dagger with a 10 inch blade
that has a series of serrations
resembling a comb along it designed to
entrap enemy blades.

Giggs Inherited this dagger from his

Grandfather after his death in 1583FS
much to his surprise. The dagger was
bought by his Grandfather shortly
before his death to give to Giggs as a
present in the hopes that it would make
up for the rough time he had given him
in his adult life.

Giggs, being a staunch pacifist, did not use it much nor is he very
proficient with the weapon. However, with the loss of his rapier in
Season 3 Chapter 13, Giggs has begun to keep the dagger on his
person for self defence.

The Arkasios Spring Series Crossbows

The Arx-SM84 “Lanza”

Having sponsored its creation, Giggs naturally owns one of the prototype
models of this crossbow. Unfortunately, this is merely a prototype that is
inferior to the regular model. Giggs did not want the regular model as he
saw the final design as “appropriate for sale but barbaric in nature.”

The Arx-SM83 “Rodriguez”

Giggs owns one of these for sporting purposes. Having sponsored its
creation, he naturally owns the first one ever produced. Unlike the most
recent variant, Giggs believes this design to be worthy of his use, regularly
taking it on his hunting trips to kill puppies in cold blood.

Giggs was one of the best fencers in his local area when he was
young. Unfortunately, he stopped fencing at the loss of his first
crush, Philip, and began focusing on his studies and magic prowess.
Very little of his original skill is left.

Giggs is a senior researcher in the Veneum, the science department
of the USFP, focusing on alchemical elixirs and the like. Having
invented Etherium Elixir and Mana Nullifying Serum, he is naturally
a very good chemist.

Giggs loves to read and learn more about everything around him,
making his a polymath. If it exists, he has likely read something on it
or knows someone who does.

❖ Machiavellian Manipulator
As mentioned previously, Giggs takes great pleasure in manipulating
people for his own gain and amusement. He has gotten very good at
it as time has gone on, building large networks of lies in various
social circles in Karthus.

❖ Alcohol Resistance
Giggs is an alcoholic, as a result he is more resistant to alcohol than
other people. In other words, Giggs parties harder than everyone
else.

❖ Culinary Connoisseur
Giggs is well versed in a wide array of foods and ingredients. If it
exists, he knows it and he can criticise it.

❖ Sanamancy
Giggs is a decent sanamancer but he does not focus primarily
on his magic. His efforts are more focused on learning rather
than magic prowess, using his magic most for the sake of
research.
❖ Malumancy
Giggs has been trained in the dark art of Malumancy, as a
means to strike fear in both his corporate allies and enemies.
He mostly uses this form of magic as a means to disguise
himself and others for the sake of gathering information or for
his own fun.

Owned Properties
❖ The Chitinni Estate (Vendaux, Karthus)
The ancestral home of the Vendaux Chitinni family since 1483, when Rnai
Chitinni purchased the home with money he obtained from duelling both
for and against the rich and wealthy of Karthus. After his death, it was
passed on to Trna Chitinni but he preferred his own home; a smaller cosier
place just down the road. Since he did not want the property, he gave it to
Giggs. Yeah, Giggs has turned it into a crack den. Alvare was not happy.
❖ Interrompre Chateau (Valenti Academy, Karthus)
Giggs bought this Chateau shortly after he came back from west arkasios.
He uses this estate to heckle and harass students of the Valenti Academy as
they return home for summer vacation. The worst part is that they cannot
do anything about this as it is protected by the Karthusain Government.
❖ Portside House (Magrinium, Ravena)
This manor in the capital city of Ravena is Giggs’ main residence when he
has to go to the country for business. Technically, it is owned by the
company to accommodate high ranking officials of the West Arkasios
Trading Company. Of course, Giggs owns the company, so he can do as he
pleases.
❖ φέτα φέουδο (Orealis, Porthos)
Another house owned by the company, except this time Giggs has no clue
what the name means or how to pronounce it. This is his main residence in
Porthos and is a house designed to accommodate high ranking officials of
the Trade Company when they stay in Porthos.
❖ Room 420, the nest (Crow’s nest, Vontur)
This room is personally owned by Giggs. He uses it to deal drugs when he
feels like taking a break from the boring day to day and living it up in the
streets of Crow’s Nest. It is the equivalent of a rubbish bin if it were a
house.
❖ Hôtel Mondial (Sector 1, West Arkasios)
This is Giggs’ headquarters in West Arkasios and the main power base for La
Famille Du Reseau. It is a three story tall building in the first sector that doubles
as a hotel for addition revenue.

Due to his ability to photosynthesise Giggs is frail. He cannot take a
lot of damage before falling.
❖ Unarmoured:
For the sake of Fashion Giggs stubbornly refuses to wear armour.
While he can wear light armour, anything mostly composed of steel,
iron or any other dense metal is too heavy for him.
❖ Staunch Pacifist:
Giggs staunchly refuses to kill people himself. That's what he pays
people to do so he does not have to get his hands dirty. In addition,
he believes people are more profitable alive.
❖ Alcoholism:
Giggs is an alcoholic, making his stamina worse than it was
previously.
❖ Gambling Addiction:
Giggs loves taking bets and will never back down from a game. This
has caused reckless behaviour from Giggs.
❖ Chain Smoker:
Giggs smokes a lot. Needless to say, it has horribly affected his
health.
❖ Cheese Guzzler:
Giggs is a cheese addict. He loves cheese. He keeps it on him. He
worships cheese. This also has not had a good effect on his health.
❖ Glasses:
Giggs does not need glasses for medical reasons. On a medical basis,
Giggs has near perfect 20/20 vision. That being said, he does have a
need for Fashion! He believes that his glasses make him look
smarter, so he’ll go to desperate lengths to protect his glasses.
❖ Karthusian Supremacist:
Giggs believes that anyone who is not Karthusian to be inferior to
him, causing him to underestimate those who are not of Karthusian
descent.

Giggs is haunted by his past, resulting in little sleep. He is

❖ A burnt silver locket:
This locket originally belonged to Silvia and is the last thing he can
remember her by. It contains a sketch of him holding a young Inijo.
He treasures it dearly and will go to great lengths to keep it safe.
❖ Secrets:
➢ Giggs cares about his son
As mentioned previously, Giggs puts up an air of aloofness
around his son to prevent others from thinking that he actually
cares about him. This is to prevent others from using Inijo as a
tool against him.
➢ Giggs is actually El Queso Grande
Giggs had to leave the Trade Company due to political strife
against him. If it were to come out that he is actually El Queso
Grande, troubles from back there could affect him in hiding.
➢ Giggs is a Malumancer
Malumancy is a forbidden art, as such Giggs must hide the fact
that he can use it. So far, he has bribed certain powerful
individuals to hide this fact, but their influence can only reach
so far. To prevent future issues, he keeps it hidden.
➢ Giggs actually hates the Sitias
The Sitias are some of Giggs’ biggest supporters as he was
friends with the former patriarch. However, Giggs holds a deep
resentment within himself towards them due to the death of
Philip. He must keep it calm to maintain their support.
➢ Giggs invented Etherium Elixir
Karthusian society looks down on drugs. To maintain his
reputation, he must keep his invention of the drug a secret.

1540 - Giggs is born
1555 - Giggs meets Philip Grégoire, the son of a woodcutter, and his first
love.
1557 - Philip Grégoire is executed for killing a member of the Sitia family
in an illegal duel.
Early 1558 - Giggs enters the USFP, meets Silvia Alvare his future wife
Late 1558 - Meets and befriends the father of the 3 year old child future
genius Dawn Sitia, planning to kill both him and his daughter to avenge
Philip.
Early 1559 - comes close to killing Dawn’s father but then realises he’s
being fucking stupid. Philip’s actions decided his fate, not his. Giggs
decides should move on from Philip and his revenge but maintains a strong
relationship with the Sitia’s moving forward. As a result of this
Late 1559 - Giggs Marries Silvia
1560 - Giggs’ first son, Philip, is born.
1561 - Giggs’ second son, Inijo, is born.
1562 - Silvia and Philip (his son) die horribly in a fire. Distraught at their
loss, Giggs puts his master’s degree on hold, falling into a spiral of
alcoholism and smoking. During this time, he began to neglect Inijo,
thinking that he was not worthy to raise him properly. His father raises
Inijo in his stead. This dark period of his life led to a lot of kids he doesn’t
know about.
1569 (nice) - after much toil and torment Giggs overcomes some of his
demons just enough to restart his master’s degree in the usfp.
1572 - Giggs invents Etherium Elixir as a means to cope with his trauma
and completes his master’s degree.
1573 Ventose - Giggs arrives in West Arkasios and finds himself in sector
six, one stricken with gang warfare and violence.

1573 Germinal - Giggs begins work on a pyramid scheme to earn a quick
gold, getting some local Duskalian immigrants into his scheme through
business
1573 Floreal - Pyramid scheme works with great success! Many Duskalian
immigrants fall for it, going into debt and being turned onto the streets and
joining gangs, perpetuating the issue of gang warfare in the sector that he
resides in.
1573 Prairial - taking advantage of the poverty and chaos that he caused,
Giggs begins selling Etherium elixir to those in hard times, getting them
hooked and forced to turn to the streets, greatly increasing the issue of
gang violence in the sector.
1573 Thermidor - To better protect his merchandise and himself, Giggs
makes a gang of his own, composed of those that suffered from his
operations, the poverty stricken pyramid scheme victims, the drug addicts
and those who wanted to better themselves in a time of strife.
1573 Messidor - Giggs begins practising Malumancy (learnt from the
Duskalians in his Gang) to assist in creating fear to better control his gang
and to make his enemies fear him.
1574 Thermidor - getting rich off of the troubles in the area, Giggs has
become something of a local authority being looked up to with respect
from the local gangs. Using his new found power, he “took responsibility”
by using his gang to take control of the local sector by ANY MEANS
NECESSARY.
1574 Messidor - Giggs marries Basilio Franco, another Gang leader in a
neighbouring Sector.
1574 Fructador - In just under two months Giggs took full autocratic
control of a sector that had been plagued with violence, crime and
substance abuse for the past decade, of which had reached its peak only a
couple months before. Giggs is heralded as a hero for his efforts in
“cleaning the streets”
Early 1575 - Seeing a need for covert corporate espionage, Giggs begins
using his gang to create a network of agents across the city. This is the
beginning of what will be known as “Du Réseau.”

Late 1575 - the first “Diable Hunt” occurs when Giggs’ favourite hitman
turns against one of his lieutenants, killing him in the “Sainteté” of the
“Hôtel Mondial” Giggs’ headquarters at the time. Dantino was killed
shortly after in early 1576.
Early 1576 - Giggs eliminates his rivals within the Trade company and
assumes the mantle of Guildmaster.
Early 1580 - Giggs is forced to go into hiding due to increased opposition
against him. Due to this, he decides to control West Arkasios and the trade
company from the background using Du Réseau.
Uses his connection to the Sitia family to get a comfy place in the USFP as
a researcher, claiming that El Queso Grande was severely harmed in an
attack and had to be treated abroad.
Late 1581 - To expand Du Réseau’s reach deeper into Solaris, Giggs
approached Cheon Sa with a deal. In exchange for allowing Du Réseau to
use their businesses as safe houses, bases and fronts for their dealings, the
Kang-Jeon would gain access to Du Réseau’s information network and
corporate assistance (through espionage and sabotage of enemy
operations). Using this agreement, both businesses would thrive and
expand.
1583 - Giggs plays a key part in rebuilding the USFP after the siege on
Vendeux and is promoted to Vice-Academy Head as a result.
Modern Day, 1584 - Giggs is a Professor and Senior Researcher at the
University of Scholarly Findings and Philosophies who owns the largest
company in Solaris, a fiscal advisor in the Northern Alliance and owns a

Random Statistics and facts:
❖ Giggs has owned at least 74 monkeys called Billy-Bob before
Billy-Bobthe 5, 15th of his name if you do the maths. The reality is
likely far less because Giggs is a pathological liar who likes to
exaggerate statistics to mess with people around him.
❖ Giggs was 15 when he first met Philip. He was 17 when Philip died.
❖ Giggs effectively watched Philip die twice as he named his eldest
son after him. This son died in a house fire. I did this because I
wanted Giggs to suffer. Also because I found it funny.
❖ Giggs created Etherium Elixir as a means to overcome the ghosts of
his past, only to become the first Etherium Elixir addict. After
learning this property, Giggs quickly capitalised on how he could use
the addictive properties to obtain profit. This is a reference to the
IRL British East India Company who sold opium to everyone they
met for significant profit.
❖ Giggs has mixed feelings on the house of Sitia. On the one hand, he
is considered a family friend, on the other they were the ones who
killed Philip. While he is not actively trying to kill them anymore, he
still feels a deep resentment towards them.
❖ Giggs hates toads. This is a joke in reference to how French people
are referred to as frogs.
❖ Giggs loves cheese. This was originally due to the creation of the
cheese doc but it’s kinda just become a meme.
❖ Bosnia has nothing to do with Giggs the character.
❖ My IRL cat also has nothing to do with Giggs the character
❖ Giggs loves alcohol. In character this is due to trauma and his
unhealthy habits formed to get over his wife. IRL, I just think
alcoholics are funny.
❖ Giggs is a foodie because I am a foodie. I like food from exotic

❖ Originally, Giggs was supposed to be a Newt Scamander like
character who loved travelling. This changed.

❖ In my lore, I claim Giggs gets his shit together in 1569. But did he
really? You’ll notice, if you look closely, that none of his unhealthy
habits stopped after this date. Much rather, these habits got pushed to
their extreme. Giggs makes drugs, he abandons his family, he runs
off to West Arkasios and has a shit ton of kids! The reason behind
this is because I wanted to make a complex character that, much
rather than suffering eternally from his negative traits, used them to
get as much success as possible out of life. And yet, the success he
finds ultimately drives him into the darkest pits he has ever faced.
❖ The other purpose behind the above is that I wanted to make a
character that has gone through a significant set of character arcs and
yet still has room to grow and change. As it stands, Giggs could in
theory put down all that he has and turn to focus on a better life with
his family and on healthy habits. He is in the perfect position to do
so: he is away from West Arkasios with competent leadership so he
could leave the post to his inferiors, his son has returned home so he
could tear down the walls and begin to move on from the loss of
Silvia and Philip with Inijo’s help, he has a good position in the
USFP that he can focus on in his spare time and make a good change
in the world. But will he?
❖ The previous point is my in-world excuse if I ever give up on the
Mrsecode Patreon.
❖ It is unlikely that he will give up on what he has gotten. Giggs is
hooked on a lot of things and success is his biggest addiction. It’ll
take a lot for him to Give up on what he has earned.

For people who want to write Giggs!
Giggs is a comedic character who is designed to suffer as a joke. Sure he has
all this trauma behind him but that does not justify his actions. Do not present
him as some tragic hero, he is far from it. He is a scoundrel that only deserves
punishment. Do not back down from making him suffer.
The main factor of his character that needs to be mentioned is the big
juxtapositions in how he acts and what he acts for. Giggs is the epitome of
hypocrisy: anything right he does must be done for the wrong reasons and
anything wrong he does must be done for the right reasons. In summary, if the
road to hell is paved with good intentions, Giggs is going at 90 in a school
district. If he saves a life it must be so he can profit from manipulating that
person later; if he wants to kill someone then it's to save someone he holds dear.
Giggs is not good or evil, he’s on the fence but facing towards evil.
That being said, Giggs is better off acting as a shady character to the side of the
plot whilst being in the spotlight. His flamboyant personality is great for a laugh
and can make him the star of the scene of any story he’s in, but don’t let him be
the big bad. He’s loud and obnoxious but he’s no dark overlord charging in front
of an army; His power needs to be more subtle, bribing someone here, a little
display of Malumancy there, all in between bouts of arrogance and showiness
that distracts from these subtle moves. Giggs relies on soft power, influence over
other people and background plots, rather than pure strength.
