    About media:

    Media is a way to communicate to people who can’t be everywhere same time, can’t be part of
    important things which have impact on their life. The media should tell the real facts to the people,
    wrong information can have negative reactions in the society, today it is most actively used.

    Joseph Goebbels, minister of the propaganda in Nazi Germany - ”let me control the media and I will
    turn any nation into a herd of pigs”

    Nowadays media:

    Nowadays media is turn into most powerful weapon in the world, we have many examples.

    One of them is war in Ukraine. There are two side of media - western and Russian side, which win this
    news wars wins real war too. It’s called hybrid war. The idea of this play on people’s feelings, make them
    more aggressive against someone and deserve their attention and support.

    In virtual world is hard to check the information and find if its right or wrong. it caused by online media,
    information is distributed very fast and you can’t find source of it. People don’t try to do it too. Social
    medias like Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram and twitter give us opportunity to have our own media on your
    profiles. Phones have cameras and can record important things and then spread information without
    any TV media. 21th century is different because even solider can have cameras and record battles
    against each other.

    During the covid period media helped us a lot, they told us new rules which was made by government,
    for example numbers of infected people. They gave us information about vaccines, so many people
    were afraid and didn’t trust it, they have convinced many people that there is nothing wrong with the
    vaccine.

    But during the covid social media has also managed to divide people into vaxxers and anti-vaxxers. This
    is just one specific example out of many where the media is been able to crate public opinion.

    Next topic is what news the media is asking for. The media is like a business - they demand stories that
    are east to sell and people are interest in. Because of this many other topics are covered. So social
    media was a good thing for oppressed groups to express their problems.

    Let’s agree that there’s no independent media and they are customized on rich people who don’t want
    to show us things that they don’t want to. It may be a violation of worker rights and others.

    To conclude, I would like to summarize that the media is like a business that relies on hard news, they
    will not always be impartial, so we need to check the information and not trust blindly.
