In the modern era, the Internet has established itself as a fundamental tool that has radically transformed the
way we live, work and relate. His impact has been so profound that it is difficult to imagine a world without him
First of all, the Internet has democratized access to information. Before its existence, knowledge was limited to
those who had access to libraries or educational institutions. Today, with just a few clicks, we can access a vast
amount of information on virtually any topic. Furthermore, the Internet has revolutionized communication. We
are no longer limited by geographical barriers or established schedules. We can instantly communicate with
people on the other side of the world through email, text messages, voice calls or video conferences.
However, it is important to recognize that the Internet also presents challenges and risks. The proliferation of
fake news, loss of privacy, and social media addiction are just some of the concerns we face in the digital age.
Also, being a database that we all have access to, it is not always used for positive things. As a result of this, the
Internet harbors a dark side, commonly known as the "Deep Web." On the "deep web" you can find illicit
content with strong and high content.
In my opinion the deep web should be closed, but this is not easy to do since the origin of it is not known, nor
are the users who enter this website known. Being clear about this dark and little-known side, we must make
the Internet a safe community to counteract the terrible and negative services of pages such as the "Deep
Web", generating awareness among users and the use they give to their networks. It is crucial to address these
issues with appropriate policies and regulations to ensure that the Internet remains a safe and beneficial space
for everyone.
I feel that on this platform, users should be aware of the use they give it, since we are not always aware of the
impact of our actions and comments on the internet. A change should be made in the online community, to
make it a healthier place for all users, whether they are viewers or content creators. A good way to avoid toxic
comments from people who generate bad comments or also called haters, is to limit comments and eliminate
offensive comments. An example of the misuse of social networks is siver bullying, a term used to refer to
massive harassment of other people. siver bullying can end in the worst tragedies for the user who receives it, a
great consequence of internet harassment in suicide and depression generated by the misuse of networks.
Our good use of the Internet can make it a healthy place to browse. There are communities that are dedicated
to leaving a good mark on the users who consume them, as is the case of "Body positive", a community created
by influencers to counteract hatred towards bodies that do not comply with social stereotypes. The creators of
this "Body positive" content make the internet a better platform where you can find support against fatphobia
and eating disorders.
In another point of view, there are also toxic communities that only generate more hatred through controversial
topics and controversy, which can generate a bad atmosphere among users. Controversies can create sides or
also called "fandoms" that are created by fans to defend an influencer or a topic, attacking with bad comments.
