How to write a Research paper

Highlights (it is not mandatory in all journals)


1. Highlights should be in 3/maximum 4 sentences

2. Each sentence should be written like newspaper headline. Very

specific with 3 or 4 words.

3. In some journals they specify the number of words for highlights.

Abstract
In brief, please design your abstract in the following way

1. Importance of the topic very briefly.

2. study gap as well as motivation

3. method of the study very briefly

4. then go with your findings one by one.

5. be specific with the findings

6. finally a concluding sentence about the future effectiveness of this

study/topic

Keywords:

Add the very important/ significant words of your research.

Introduction:

1. When you are going to write the introduction, please read the titles

very carefully (several times). Find the key points of the title.

2. You have to introduce the key terms at first. If your work is on a

specific area/ study area introduce it.


3. Importance of the study+ importance of the study in this area

4. Study gap. That means briefly describe the study already done in this

field and the gap, which you are going to address in your study.

5. It will work as literature review. Simultaneously add the motivation of

your study.

6. Finally, the objective of the study.

Data

1. Add the description of the data (temporal, horizontal and vertical

resolution, time period).

2. Add the data sources very specifically so that the reader finds the data

following you very easily.

3. Add website address or data link as well.

Method:

1. Add all the methods you used in the study.

2. Statistical analysis/ terms of equations you used.

Result and Discussion:

1. Result and discussion can be put together. Better to give the

discussion separately.

2. Describe the result serially following the objectives of the study.

Keep in mind what you will describe in result must be clearly found

from your figures/ data. And add relevant literature.


3. In discussion section, discuss all the key results and relate them/

verify them with the literatures.

Conclusion:

At the very first para of the conclusion, briefly give the motivation and

method. Give the key results sequentially. Implication of the study and

finally, give a touch of the extended work of the current research.

References

All references should follow the same pattern. Each journal has own

pattern, so follow the journal where you want to submit.
