Rules:
TEAMS & PLAYERS
• Each team consists of 8 members.
• Team members should wear appropriate sports attire and footwear with good grip.
OBJECTIVE
• The goal is to pull the opposing team across a designated center line using a thick rope.
A team wins when they pull the other team’s anchor marker (a colored tape or marker
placed on the rope) past the winning line on their side.
FIELD SETUP
• A 15-meter rope is used, marked with a centerline (aligned with the ground’s
centerline) and two additional markings 4 meters from the center on either side.

win the round.
STARTING THE GAME
• The match starts with both teams lining up on their side of the rope with hands evenly

• The judge signals the start of the game with a whistle or command like "Ready, Pull!"
Teams may not begin pulling until the official start signal.

• The first player or team to reach 21 points wins a game, with a 2-point margin
required. If the score reaches 20-20, the game continues until one side leads by 2
points or the score reaches 30-29.
SCORING SYSTEM
• Matches are played in a best of 3 games format.
• A rally is won when the shuttlecock lands in the opponent’s court or the opponent
commits a fault (e.g., hitting the shuttle out of bounds).
• Points are awarded for every rally, regardless of who served (known as rally scoring).
SERVING
• In singles, the server stands on the right side of their court if their score is even and on
the left if odd.
• In doubles, the team that wins the rally serves. Partners rotate serving based on
scoring. The serve must be underhand and struck below the waist, with the shuttlecock
landing in the diagonal service court.
• The serve must clear the short service line and land in the correct service box.

• The server and receiver remain in their respective service courts, but after the server
wins a point, they switch sides.
• Players in the serving team continue to rotate between left and right sides until the
rally is lost.
FAULTS
• A fault occurs when the shuttlecock:
• Lands outside the boundaries of the court.
• Passes through or under the net. Fails to cross the net.
• Touches the ceiling or side walls.
• Is hit twice by the same player/team.
• It is also a fault if the player touches the net with their body or racket.
RALLIES
• Each team is allowed one hit to return the shuttle over the net.
• The rally continues until the shuttlecock hits the floor or a fault is committed.
CHANGING SIDES
• Players change sides of the court after each game.
• In the third game, if necessary, players change sides when the leading score reaches 11
points.

LET
• A let is called when:
• The server serves before the opponent is ready.
• The shuttlecock gets stuck in the net after crossing it.
• There’s any interruption or an unclear situation in the rally. In the event of a let, the
point is replayed.
TIME-OUTS
• Each player/team is allowed 1 time-out per match, lasting 60 seconds. There is a 2-
minute break between each game.
CONDUCT
• Players must show respect for opponents and officials.
• Any unsportsmanlike behavior, arguing with referees, or delaying the game will result

55 TABLE FOOTBALL (BOYS + GIRLS)
Rules:
TEAMS & PLAYERS
• Each team consists of 1 or 2 players depending on the format (singles or doubles).
Players control the rods with figures attached to move and kick the ball. There are 4
rods per side:
• Goalie Rod: 1 player
• Defense Rod: 2 players
• Midfield Rod: 5 players
• Attack Rod: 3 players
OBJECTIVE
• The aim is to score goals by moving the ball into the opponent's goal using the figures
on the rods.
• The first team to score 5 goals wins a game.
• Matches are typically played in a best of 3 games format.
STARTING THE GAME
• A coin toss determines which team serves first.
• The team that wins the toss serves the ball by placing it in the midfield and putting it
into play.
• After each goal, the team conceding the goal serves the next ball.
SCORING
• A goal is scored when the ball enters the opponent’s goal, even if it bounces back onto
the field.
• If a player scores an own goal, the point is awarded to the opposing team.
ROD & BALL CONTROL
• Spinning the rods (rotating them more than 360 degrees before or after hitting the
ball) is not allowed and results in a foul.
• Players can only use the figures on the rods to hit the ball—no hands or other body
parts are allowed.
• Players are permitted to move the rods horizontally (side-to-side) to position the
figures and vertically to kick or pass the ball.
GAME PLAY
• Possession: When the ball is stopped or not in play for more than 10 seconds, it must
be moved to another rod.
• Defense and Goalie rods can hold the ball for 10 seconds each.
• Midfield and Attack rods can hold the ball for 15 seconds each.
• Passes and Shots: Players can pass the ball between their rods to set up shots. Shots
can only be taken by moving the ball with a controlled push, pull, or flick—spinning
shots are considered fouls.
FOULS & PENALTIES
• Spinning the rods results in a foul. If a foul occurs, the ball is placed at the opponent’s
midfield rod.
• Jarring: Excessive shaking or bumping the table to affect the ball's movement is
prohibited. A foul is called for jarring.
• Illegal serve: If the ball is served unfairly (e.g., not properly dropped into play), the
opponent may request a re-serve.
TIMEOUTS
• Each team is allowed 1 timeout per game. Timeouts last 30 seconds and can only be
called when the ball is not in play.
SUBSTITUTIONS (FOR DOUBLES PLAY)
• Teams are allowed 1 substitution between games but not during a game.
CHANGING SIDES
• Players switch sides of the table after each game in a match.

settle disputes.
