Moderate 990-foot elevation gain The Big Meadow is a great place to wander. There’s no right or
wrong way to do it; just follow the animals’ paths. Every season
From the Big Meadows amphitheater parking area, walk downhill will reveal something special: wildflowers, fawns, butterflies,
at the concrete marker post and turn left on the Appalachian tracks in the snow—you never know what you might find.
Trail. Stay right onto the blue-blazed Lewis Falls Trail. It’s a steep,
