     SmartOrchard: Integrated Drone-Based Management System for Sustinable
    Apple Farming in Himachal Pradesh
     Proposed Solution:
    • Apple trees monitoring using drone technology
    • Early prediction diseases of trees
    • Calculating vegetation indices, temperature, number of blossoms
    • Spraying pesticides for required trees using drone
    • App implementation using block chain technology to protect drone data and connect with wholesale customers
     Addressing the Problem :
    • Identifies and Monitors Tree Health: Multispectral imaging, Thermal imaging Analysis for disease detection
    • Enhances Precession in Pest: Spray accurately using disease detected areas in trees, SLAM for autonomous navigation, 3D
    point cloud lidar data, ArcGIS, GPS for mapping
    • Improves Yield Prediction and Management: Using regression models such as Decision Trees and Random Forests
    • Saves Time and Labor: Farmer focus on new factors
    • Provides Real-time data and Alerts: Integration with cloud based databases, Block chain technology: Ethereum app

    • Integration: Combining a spraying tank with multispectral image analysis in a single drone system

    • TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY:
    -> Sensor Integration:
    • Integration of lidar, RGB camera, IMU, GPS for better flight position estimation
    -> Autonomous Navigation:
    • Lidar mapping, Kalman filter
    • Data flow between POMDP Motion Planner and ROS helps drone to make predictions in environment and
    decision making for autonomous navigation
    -> Image Conversion:
    • Conversion of normal RGB image into multispectral image using U-Net architecture this reduces cost of buying
    expensive multispectral cameras
    • Conversion of RGB image into Thermal image
    • VIABILITY:
    -> Virtual Tour Implementation:
    • Stake holder management by providing clear presentation about freshness of apples
    • Marketability, ease of use and effectiveness
