MAN 18V48B ENGINE 18.9 MW GENSET
We prove that in the period July 3-27´08 the fuel consume and the appearance in average MW per
hour in the MAN 18V48B Unit 6 was improve if compare with same Unit 6 and relatives with another
Units.-This stage is to stablish a protocol to confirm the CleanboostHFO capacity to improve the
engine performance and reduce the fuel consume.
Under control conditions is demostrated a fuel economy percent in short period of time.
Often readings start to calculate fuel consumes and MWh at the same load charge the most hours
as can, divide in similar periods,in one CleanboostHFO is injected and not in another to compare.
The results are:
IN THE PERIODS WHERE CleanboostHFO REFORMULATOR IS USED THE FUEL CONSUME
IS LESS THAN THOSE WITHOUT OUR ADDITIVE.
THE EFFICIENCY IS IMPROVED.

DATA EMISSIONS ANALYSIS TAKED July 2,008

Unit 6 Emissions Analysis Data taked on July 2,008

Desarrollos Energeticos y Ambiente a certificate company to develope environmental protocols under

contract of Combustion Technologies was in charge as independent consulting office to stablish
differences in the stack emissions to compare periods without additive against with additive use.

In the photo Desarrollos Energeticos y Ambiente collecting stack information together as witness
Combustion Technologies and Power Plant Engineers.

Conclusions: In the period with additive use

Emissions and particulate materials reduced under the World Bank parameters,
Positive Oxigen excess what mean more avaibility of gases what improve the combustion

STUDY REPORT HFO ADDITIVE USE
MAN 18V48B ENGINE 18.9 MW GENSET

This stage is to stablish a protocol to confirm the CleanboostHFO capacity to improve the engine performance and reduce fuel consume.
We prove that in the period July 3-27 ´08 the fuel consume and the appearance in average MW per hour in the MAN18V48B Unit 6 was improve if compare
with same Unit 6 and relative with another units, these improves are confirmed in protocol January 2,009 Unit 1 A model and Unit 5 B model, under control
conditions is demostrated a fuel economy percent in short period of time, often readings start to calculate fuel consumes and MWh at the same load charge the
most hours as can, divide in similar periods,in one CleanboostHFO is injected and not in another to compare.
The results are : IN THE PERIODS WHERE CleanboostHFO REFORMULATOR IS USED THE FUEL CONSUME IS LESS THAN THOSE WITHOUT OUR
ADDITIVE : THE EFFICIENCY IS IMPROVED .
