and give oxygen. If unconscious, place in the recovery position and GET
IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.
Ingestion Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person. Get medical attention immediately.
Note to physician Treat symptomatically.

Section 5, Fire-fighting measures

Combustion products May produce hazardous combustion products, including CO, CO2, NOx and
irritating vapors.
Hazardous properties At elevated temperatures, vapors can form an ignitable mixture with air. Vapors
can flow along surfaces to distant ignition sources and flash back.
Fire-fighting methods CO2, Dry Chemical, Foam, Water fog
Special protective equipment Wear special protective equipment for fire-fighters, such as self-contained
breathing apparatus and full protective suit.

Section 6, Accidental release measures

Notifier In case of overflow or leakage accidents, responsible person should notify the
relevant departments in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Leakage treatment Eliminate all ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks, or flames in
immediate area). Keep combustibles (wood, paper, oil, etc.) away from spilled
material. Large Spills: Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Dike the
spilled material, where this is possible. Cover with plastic sheet to prevent
spreading. Use a non-combustible material like vermiculite, sand or earth to
soak up the product and place into a container for later disposal. Prevent entry
into waterways, sewer, basements or confined areas. Following product
recovery, flush area with water. Small Spills: Wipe up with absorbent material
(e.g. cloth, fleece). Clean surface thoroughly to remove residual contamination.
Never return spills to original containers for re-use. For waste disposal, see
section 13 of this SDS.
Environmental precautions Avoid dispersal of spilt material, run-off and contact with soil, waterways, drains
and sewers.

Section 7, Handling and storage

Handling Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood.
Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition. Do not
breathe mist or vapor. Avoid contact with skin. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid
contact during pregnancy/while nursing. Avoid prolonged exposure. Avoid
contact with clothing. Provide adequate ventilation. Material should be
handled in closed systems, if possible. Wear appropriate personal protective
equipment. Observe good industrial hygiene practices. When using, do not
eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
Storage Store away from oxidizers. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame.
Store in the original tightly closed container, in a well-ventilated place. Store
away from incompatible materials (see Section 10 of this SDS). Keep in an

area equipped with sprinklers. Store in accordance with local/regional/national/

international regulations.

Section 8, Exposure controls/personal protection

Engineering protection Protection level and the necessary control measures are different according to
the different contact potential conditions.
Eye If eye contact is possible, use protective glasses with side shields.
Body Recommend using chemical and oil resistant clothing.
Respirator When concentrations exceed nuisance levels, use appropriate NIOSH-
approved respirator. In extreme cases a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
(SCBA) may be necessary.
Hand The information of any specific gloves is based on published literature and data
of glove manufacturers. Check and replace worn and damaged gloves.
