Introduce Yourself

My name is Suleman Akhtar, and I am 19 years old. I have completed my FSc Pre-Medical and
have passed the B1 Goethe exam and now I am interested in pursuing a Bachelor's degree in
Chemistry in Germany.

Why Germany
I chose Germany for my studies as almost 30 Nobel Prizes in chemistry have been awarded to
researchers in Germany. German Universities are renowned for exceptional science programs and
cutting-edge research. During My bachelor Degree I will study Analytical chemistry, Biochemistry,
Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Molecular Spectroscopy. As a chemistry student, I’ll have practical
experience with advanced instruments and techniques . Moreover German Universities maintain a
good balance between Practical and theoretical learning which is a lacking point in other countries.

What do you know about your course structure?

I plan to complete my B2 and C1 German language levels at the F+U Academy of Languages. After
that, I’ll begin my 13th year of education, known as Studienkolleg, and then pursue the Bachelor’s in
Chemistry program at TU Clausthal, which is designed to be completed in six semesters. The program
structure includes the following key components:

Analytical Chemistry

Inorganic and Organic Chemistry

Biochemistry

Molecular Spectroscopy

Crystallography And Mineralogy

✓Foundation Courses: These cover the basics of mathematics, physics, and general chemistry.

✓Core Chemistry Courses: Students delve into inorganic, analytical, organic, and physical chemistry
through lectures, tutorials, and extensive laboratory work.

✓Specialization: The program includes Clausthal’s specialty in technical chemistry, which combines
theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

✓Elective Modules: These allow for additional study in areas such as biochemistry, macromolecular
chemistry, or materials science.

✓Research and Thesis: The program concludes with a research placement and the completion of a
bachelor’s thesis.

What are your Future Plans?

After completing my studies at TU Clausthal, I intend to pursue a master’s program in chemistry. With
a focus on research and development (R&D), I look forward to work in modern laboratories, exploring
innovative substances, and developing new products. My ultimate goal is to address real-world
challenges, such as creating new pharmaceuticals, sustainable materials, and environmental friendly
chemical processes.

What have you done since your 12?

I have successfully prepared for and passed the B1 Goethe exam. Additionally, I am preparing the
essential mathematics topics required for the studienkolleg Aufnahmeprüfung.

Your language fees

I have paid 3810 euro which includes 20 weeks intensive German course for B2 and C1, enrollment
fees and provisional admission fees (160 euro per week)

Why are you doing higher levels in Germany?

In Pakistan, the primary language of communication is often the mother tongue, which makes it
challenging to create a German language environment. To pass the Studienkolleg entrance exam, one
must have strong German skills. Learning German with native speakers will enhance my German skills
and fluency.

What do you know about your University?

TU Clausthal, located in Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany, is a distinguished university specializing in
engineering, natural sciences, and economics. Founded in 1775, it emphasizes research and
innovation with a practical approach to education.

What do you know about Causthal?

Clausthal-Zellerfeld is a small town in Lower Saxony, Germany, located in the Harz Mountains. It's
known for its mining history and the Technical University of Clausthal, which specializes in
engineering and natural sciences. The town has a picturesque beauty and offers a wide range of
outdoor activities.

SPONSOR
My father holds an administrative position in Mag Town and is also engaged in real estate as a
property dealer.
Why Chemistry
I chose to study for a bachelor's in chemistry as the field of chemistry has always captivated me. I was
really interested in observing chemical reactions during my high school lab practical. This hands-on
experience sparked my passion for chemistry. I believe studying in Germany will provide me with a
solid foundation to advance my knowledge and achieve my career goal in this field.
