    URGENT MEMORANDUM

    TO : PROVINCIAL/CITY DIRECTORS, CLGOO OF ORMOC, AND


    OTHER FIELD OFFICERS

    SUBJECT : CONDUCT OF BARANGAY ASSEMBLY FOR THE SECOND


    SEMESTER OF CY 2022

    DATE : October 20, 2022

    This has reference to the Memorandum Circular No. 2022-131 signed by SILG Atty.
    Benjamin C. Abalos Jr., on the abovementioned subject.

    With this, may we request your good office to ensure the dissemination of the said MC
    to all persons LGUs and DILG Field Officers within your areas of jurisdiction, as well
    as compliance of your DILG Field Officers with the following directives:

    1. Advocate the conduct of barangay assembly by posting infographics and/or


    other information materials on the Region’s social media accounts.
    2. Remind the barangay of the guidelines and conditions on the voluntary
    wearing of face masks as mandated under Executive Order No. 03, dated
    September 12, 2022.
    3. Provide the concerned Local Chief Executive, particularly the Punong
    Barangay with a copy of the barangay Assembly tarpaulin design.
    4. Deliver or read SILG’s message/address to the barangay if present during
    the conduct of the Barangay Assembly through face-to-face or via online. In
    case of unavailability of said Field Officers, the SILG’s message shall be
    read by the Punong Barangay.
    5. Ensure compliance of barangays on the posting of relevant Financial
    Documents in the BFDP Board, including the Barangay Financial report
    (Statement of Receipt and Expenditure of the Barangay) pursuant to DILG
    MC No. 2022-027 dated March 04, 2022.
    6. Cause the widest and immediate dissemination of this Circular and provide
    technical assistance relative thereto.
    7. Submit Barangay Assembly reports to DILG Central Office through Google
    Drive prepared by NBOO and to be shared to the office e-mail address/es
    of the Region.
