The intention of this action research to be carried out, which is comparison
research design, is to examine the use of interactive learning methods and the
traditional methods in improving the students' vocabulary language and
conventional language acquisition. The key is to look for the method that brings
more vocabulary, maintains more and interests the students more. This study
will compare these two methods to come up with evidence-based
recommendations on the vocabulary instructions that can prove effective in
enhancing language learning and academic achievement of the students.
b. My specific research questions are:
1. How does vocabulary mastery differ between students exposed to interactive
learning strategies and those exposed to traditional methods?

Based on the readings you made and the previous activities that you have done,
1. What significant ideas or concepts that you have learned about action research?
I learned that although action research is challenging for me, it can benefit students'
education. Action research can help find methods to enhance the way that students are
taught and learn. It also has a significant impact on raising the standard and manner in
which students receive their education.
2. Have you realized that there is a need to be an action researcher as a future teacher?
To be an excellent teacher, embrace the role of an action researcher to improve your
teaching practices and student outcomes. Continuous reflection and research on
instructional approaches can help you adapt and improve as an educator.

Work on my Artifacts
Planning effective instruction for a classroom full of learners demands that the educator know
what works and more importantly what works better for the group of people residing in the
educator's classroom today. This action research study tested the efficacy of using the full
compliment of assessments included in the curriculum adoption at the researchers school and
that of guided note taking. Each strategy was implemented in its own separate unit of a pre-
algebra class. The researcher used student growth, which was determined by the difference
observed between a student's pre-test percentage score and their final unit test percentage
score, as the metric by which to evaluate each strategies efficacy. Measurable growth was
observed with both strategies. The All Assessments strategy showed greater and more
consistent growth among learners than that which was observed during the Notes strategy.
These findings indicate that more research is needed on the effectiveness of using assessments
for learning and a need for further study to evaluate the efficacy of guided note taking. Findings
in this study should be considered as illuminating but not conclusive as the sample used is not
generalizable.

Understanding fully the concept and the process of Action Research will enable you to learn and provide
the needed assistance to your teacher mentor in doing Action Research.
Notice
What concepts have been emphasized in the task and infographics? Give at least four.
1. In order to identify problems, carry out interventions, and assess results, action research
frequently entails cooperation between researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders.
2. An essential component of action research is reflection, in which investigators examine their
methods, experiences, and results critically in order to obtain knowledge and enhance
subsequent efforts.
3. The cycle of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting that characterizes action research results
in ongoing practice and outcome improvement.
4. Through their involvement in the research process, appreciation of their viewpoints, and
encouragement of active participation in decision-making, action research seeks to empower
people and communities.
Since the 3 models are all for action research, what are the common elements of the three?
Similar to the McNiff, Whitehead, and Nelson models, they share elements such as the title and
authors, as well as the processes of observation, reflection, planning, and action. The DepEd model

shares the same features as the previously mentioned model; however, the DepEd model's elements are
more focused and emphasize the information that is required.
Reflect
As a future teacher, is conducting an Action Research worth doing?
It is definitely worthwhile for me to do action research as a prospective teacher. By identifying areas for
improvement, implementing evidence-based solutions, and actively participating in reflective practice,
action research enables educators to improve teaching and learning outcomes. Teachers can address
particular issues in their classrooms, customize solutions to fit the different needs of their students, and
support a continuous improvement culture by engaging in action research. Through this process,
teachers can make well-informed decisions, support student success, and have a positive impact on the
learning environment in addition to fostering their professional growth and development. In the end,
doing action research as a prospective teacher can result in more productive instructional strategies,
significant learning opportunities for students, and a higher level of job satisfaction.
Why?
As a prospective teacher, action research is beneficial because it gives teachers the tools they need to
actively enhance their methods, gain a deeper understanding of the needs of their students, and
promote a culture of lifelong learning. Teachers can improve student engagement, customize their
interventions, and effect positive changes in the learning environment by doing research. Future
educators would be well-served by engaging in action research since it fosters new teaching techniques,
professional development, and teamwork in addition to benefits for students.
Every classroom teacher can benefit from using action research since it provides a methodical way to
enhance student learning outcomes, improve teaching practices, and promote professional
development. In order to create a supportive learning environment that encourages student
achievement and innovation in the classroom, it facilitates student-centered teaching, evidence-based
decision-making, continuous improvement, personalized professional development, and cooperation
within the educational community.

Remembering my classroom observations in FS 1, I noticed that there are many questions that I
raised in my mind. These include:
2. How can I make FS 1 a more engaging and inclusive learning environment for a
diverse student body?
3. What tactics can I use in FS 1 to improve student participation and engagement in
group projects?
4. How can I ensure that every kid receives individualized learning experiences in FS 1
by efficiently assessing and tracking each student's development and understanding?
REFLECT
Thinking deeply about those problems, perhaps something must have been done to solve the
problem or answer the question, like:
Use multicultural content and a variety of tools to establish an inclusive learning
environment while promoting a respectful and representational culture.
Use technology, collaborative activities, and interactive teaching strategies to increase
student engagement and encourage active involvement.
Evaluate students' progress using formative tests, data-driven insights, and customized
feedback to make sure that it is in line with learning goals and meets the needs of each
individual student.
PLAN
Now, that I am in FS 2, I plan to make a plan for my solution to problem (choose from
a, b, c) because
In order to establish an inclusive learning environment that values diversity and respect,
it is imperative that multicultural material and a variety of tools be planned for. You may
engage pupils, encourage empathy, and celebrate diversity by utilizing multicultural
resources and a range of methods. This will make sure that every student feels respected
and represented in the classroom. Through the cultivation of an inclusive, equitable, and
respectful culture, this approach equips students for a varied society.
