1. What is ethics?
-A study of Morality.
-It is a branch of philosophy that deals with questions about what is morally right and wrong, good and bad,
fair and unfair. It involves the systematic study of moral principles that guide human behavior and decision-
making. Ethics helps individuals and societies determine how they ought to act in various situations, often
by evaluating the consequences of actions, duties, or intentions.
2. What is morality?
- The distinction between right and wrong behavior, often influenced by societal norms, religion, and
personal values
3. What are the similarities and differences between ethics and morality?
- Both relate to principles of right and wrong behavior, but they are applied in different contexts and have
some important differences. Both ethics and morality deal with the distinction between right and wrong
actions, good and bad behavior, and the principles that guide decision-making. Both are based on moral
principles or standards that govern how people should behave in certain situations. They provide
frameworks to guide individuals and societies in making decisions about how to live ethically and treat
others fairly. Both ethics and morality arise from personal, cultural, or societal values that shape how
individuals perceive what is acceptable or unacceptable behavior.
