MATERIALS
1 skein of a worsted weight yarn
Shown in picture: Caron Simply Soft Eco. Color Black 0034
1 set of US size #6 double pointed needles.
Tapestry Needle
Stitch holder
Stitch markers

GAUGE
Stockinette: 20 sts / 24 rows = 4 inches using US size # 6 needles.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Width 3.5 - 5 inches Length: 11.5 inches

ABBREVIATIONS:
k Knit
p Purl
M1R From the back, lift loop between stitches
with the left needle, knit into the front of loop.
M1L From the front, lift loop between stitches with
the left needle, knit into the back of loop.
pm place marker
sm slip marker

DIRECTIONS:
There is no left or right with this mitten so just make two. This pattern is for a man’s Large.

With US # 6 double point needles, cast on 42 sts (15,15,12).


To vary size: cast on by 3’s or change needle size or yarn weight.

CUFF and ARM


Work Rib k2,p1 for 30 rounds about 5 inches.
Make the mitten longer or shorter by increasing or decreasing rows here.

Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in all ends.
