    Scholarship Schemes of ICCR for Nepali Students - Indian Embassy

    The Embassy of India, Kathmandu invites online applications for the following scholarship schemes of
    ICCR from Nepali nationals to study in Indian Universities/Institutes for the academic year 2023-24:

    ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (ABVGSS) 2023-24


    The scholarship scheme is for pursuing Under Graduate courses in India under Atal Bihari Vajpayee
    General Scholarship Scheme (ABVGSS).

    The Last Date for submission of application for these scholarships is April 30, 2023 (Sunday).

    Eligibility Criteria:
    Candidates applying for B.Sc., BE/B.Tech.

    • Applicants must have passed 10th & 12th classes with 50% marks from a recognized board or
    institution.

    • Age limitation for B.Sc., BE/B.Tech is 18 years and the maximum age limit for the candidates is
    25 years.

    • Courses may please ensure that they have taken Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)

    • Mark sheets issued by the respective education board for each, i.e. level 10 and 10 + 2 level of
    school.

    • Applicants must should be uploaded along with the transcripts in English.

    • The incomplete application will be summarily rejected by Universities if documents are not in
    English or English translation is not provided.

    • To check thoroughly whole application and attach requisite documents before submission of the
    application.

    • The candidate must be have 75% of attendance.

    • The selected candidates of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme will get Rs.
    10,000/- per annum.

    • The student, who will be scored 85% marks in class 12th will get Rs. 25,000/- annually &
    monthly they will get Rs. 2500/-
    How to Apply Online for the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (2023-24):
    First candidates need to go to the official website of the department i.e.
    www.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in
    After that look for the official notification and get the Vajpayee Scholarship Application form.
    Fill all the details carefully in the application form.
    Attach all the scanned documents and upon the passport size photo and digital signature in the
    application form.

    After checking all the details carefully in the application form and hit on the submit tab icon.
    Take a print out copy of the application form.

    At last, keep it safe for further use.

    How to Submit application form of Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (2023-24) for
    Nepali Students:
    The applicant should deposit application fee of NRs. 400/- only in Favor of Education wings.
    Embassy of India, Kathmandu Account Number: 17725240200331 at any branch of Nepal SBI,
    i.e. located in Nepal.
    After deposit of application fee, the applicant should write online application registration number and
    his/her name on the top of the counter foil/receipt for identification.
    Application fee once deposited will not be refunded or adjusted.

    Documents required for Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (2023-24) for Nepali
    Students:
    Citizenship must be English i.e. (Back side of Citizenship Scan)
    Mark sheet of class 10th and 12th of the candidate
    PP size photo

    Nepali ID proof of the candidate


    Bank deposit vouchers

    Candidates Bank account details


    Permanent Address Identification
