    Responsible for the total sourcing, sample follow up, order follow up, QC inspection and
    communication with factories and Customer from sampling till shipping. Have been handling 2
    Merchandisers & 2 Q.C.s under.
    Sr.Merchandiser / Sr.Qc - In charge of South India Region (Knits / Wovens) Bangalore & Tirupur.
    Job Responsibilities at Online Designs (p) Ltd.,
    1. Sourcing:
     Source new fabrics together with the designer/head of office and send to buyer.
     Visit factories 3x per week to select samples and fabrics from the factories which are suitable
    for the customer and send to the buyers to promote our India production.
     Short-listed the suppliers according to their technical and commercial capabilities.
    2. Sampling:
     Explain sample orders from buyer to factory, including detailed sketch, spec.-, fabric-,
    accessories- sheets.
     Prepare sample schedules + deadlines and update daily. C.C. this sample schedule to
    sourcing manager India and factory every week on Monday before noon
     Should have meeting with factory at least once per week to chase and check the samples.
    3. Order processing:
     Negotiate prices with factory and customer and after the approval of the sourcing manager,
    should process the order to the selected Factory.
     Prepare production schedule + deadlines and update daily.
     Should Chase buyer for comments on samples till samples are sealed and production can
    start.
    4. QC inspection:
     Assisting management in identifying and solving quality problems
     Assuring that inspection/test procedures are being followed strictly as per customer AQL levels.
     Preparing quality inspection plans and procedures, conducting in line and final inspections at
    various check points
     Conducting special evaluations of quality/workmanship problems and monitoring corrective
    actions to resolve those problems
     Maintaining QC records and prepare and issue reports with interpretations and
    recommendations
     Following up and reporting on quality improvement measures

    around Tirupur and Erode for
    1, 80, 000 order quantity and executed the order within the shipment date

    Researched Different techniques on Washes, Treatments, New applications (Emb. Prints, Trims), also
    successfully handled and sent the SALESMEN SAMPLES on time, for all these seasons.
