Review of the passive: Zalwa is a passive voice form that comes from -zala. Make the verbs passive.
Then translate into English. Don't forget that in the passive voice, there are sound changes when the
consonant clusters’ mb, ph, b, and m’ occur in the middle or end of the verb.

Other Proverbs: There are many proverbs and expressions in English about a person changing or not
changing. For example, one might say, “you can't teach an old dog new tricks”. In isiZulu, write
about this expression or any similar one you may come up with. Write as if you are explaining the
proverb to a isiZulu speaker who may have never heard it before.
