Recommendations:
Based on the research findings, the following recommendations are
proposed:
In order to make language learning more effective, teachers should
incorporate short stories into their lesson plans. These stories not only help
students improve their reading and vocabulary skills but also make learning
more engaging through interactive activities. Encouraging group discussions
and collaborative learning further deepens students' understanding of both
language and culture. It's important to choose stories that cover a wide
range of topics and cultures to cater to the diverse interests of students. By
using technology like audio recordings and e-books, teachers can make the
storytelling experience more immersive and dynamic. Assessing students
through various methods, such as quizzes and creative projects, ensures that
their comprehension is accurately measured. Inclusive practices, like
providing translations for multilingual students, ensure that everyone can
participate fully. Moreover, fostering a sense of community through
storytelling events and partnerships with local organizations enriches
students' learning experiences by exposing them to a variety of narratives
and perspectives.
