ZEPS SANKALP SAMAJIK FOUNDATION, is a registered trust under Companies


Act, 2013 bearing registration number U85500MH2023NPL401953 dated 29/04/2023.
The trust is working in PALGHAR districts and small villages nearby PALGHAR,
which are economically and geographical vulnerable regions of MAHARASHTRA.
The resources in the blocks of these areas face many development problems
including critical shortage of drinking water, large waste lands, and poor to marginal
agriculture lands, large scale family migration, low literacy rate, and exploitative
socio-economic structure, unemployment and generally poor health of the poor
inhabitants.
The trust is chiefly involved in stimulating development action. ZEPS SANKALP
SAMAJIK FOUNDATION was established with a view to working towards
empowering the rural women through SHG formation, trainings and capacity building
with a firm belief that dissemination of knowledge would lead to awareness which
ultimately would lead to self development, confidence building, and empowerment
and action orientation. ZEPS SANKALP SAMAJIK FOUNDATION also work for the
socio-economic enhancement and empowerment of women through supporting and
nurturing the existing and new livelihood and income generating economic activities
of poor households besides enabling them to work in groups and for the common
cause of the community and the society. This is done both through financial and non-
financial services made easily accessible and available to women clients on a
sustainable basis. ZEPS SANKALP SAMAJIK FOUNDATION goal is to enable
sustained socio -economic security for women from low-income households.

Vision: To preserve and provide a sustainable environment for healthy mothers, children
and families by providing Nutrition, Education and Counseling
.
Mission: We aim to preserve family by meeting their needs through community
programs. We aspire to develop these programs and reach the wider migrant communities
of India, bringing awareness and advocacy to this population.

OBJECTIVES:
1. To promote programmes for education and understanding in respect of
interpersonal and sex relationships with a view to fostering high ethical standards.
2. To ensure equal status and dignity for men and women in the family and society.
3. To establish and maintain short stay homes, other institutions cooperate with govt.
in the running of protective homes for shelter, training and rehabilitation of
women and children in distress/ moral danger.
4. To establish and maintain health clinics for diagnose, treatment and education for
the prevention and control of sexually transmitted disease.
5. To organize training programmes for workers in field.
6. To hold awareness camps in all the field of public health.

PROJECT DETAILS

2.1 Details of the proposed CSR project to be undertaken by your organization


Indian drives nearly 33% of the gross domestic population from agriculture and has 66
% of economically active population engaged in agriculture sector. The fact that daring
could play a more constructive role in promoting rural welfare and reducing poverty is
increasingly being recognized, Milk production alone involves more than 70 million
producers, each raising one or two cows for milk production. The dairy sector offers
good employment to the people of rural India
ZEPS SANKALP SAMAJIK FOUNDATION want to help the 50 poor families of
PALGHAR district, Maharashtra. After analyzing we thought the dairy Farming
training will be the profitable for the poor persons who want to earn for their livelihood.

2.2 Brief objectives of the project

OBJECTIVES

 Train 50 poor persons of PALGHAR on how to process milk and its


minerals using modern technology and create employment through
organizing and training local women based on self-help initiatives.
 Involve 100 direct beneficiaries in milk processing training through which
their household income will increase and income generation activities will
begin.
 Improve rural economic situation of 100 families and assist them to be
economically independent which will help them to sustainably earn income
for their livelihood.
 Teach them collection, storage and selling of milk.

2.3 Brief about the Location and Area of the Project.

ZEPS SANKALP SAMAJIK FOUNDATION took up the initiative to help disabled to


enhance their potential by providing them to the opportunity to working dairy farms and
sell the milk and ear their livelihood

At this center poor disable person from Tribal Areas are given technological and
vocational training to make them job ready.
2.5 Brief about the targeted beneficiaries under proposed CSR project

Only Person who are poor, below poverty line belongs from poor family, BPL & ST
only.

2.6 Methodology of the Project

ZEPS SANKALP SAMAJIK FOUNDATION is targeting 50 poor and needy person of


PALGHAR district where our aim is to provide employment to 50 poor people. We are
providing one Jarzi cows to one beneficiary i.e 100 cows to 50 families. They will be
keeping cows to themselves, feeding them properly, taking care of them.
One cow will produce 10 liters milk at one time so 20 liters in a day. This milk be sold
at Rs. 40/Ltr therefore 600 liter X 20 = Rs. 12000/- per month.
A family will be earning Rs.12000/- per month with this project
We ZEPS SANKALP SAMAJIK FOUNDATION will be opening a Dairy Farm in
about 3000 sq feet area where we will be installing 3 machines – Cream Separator,
Deep Freezer and Chaff Cutter.
Milk Cans will be given to beneficiaries for milk collection. After collecting milk it will
be stored at one place. One beneficiary will be getting one set of milk collection cans.

FOOD PROVIDED TO COWS:


Cows will be fed with concentrates following the recommended feeding regimes
recommended by the DLSO. Specific ration including Calf Starter, Maintenance
requirement, and gestation and production rations shall be fed. In case the concentrates
are either too expensive or inconvenience to get, a home made general ratIon of
following combination 100Kg shall be made.
Crushed Maze – 42 Kg
Whate/ Rice Bran – 35 KG
Oil/Mineral Mixture – 22KG
Salt – 01 Kg
When 40 kg "nutritive" green fodder is fed to an Adult Unit (AU) in a day, it will meet
the feeding requirement. However, 1 kg concentrate per day shall be fed for good health
of the cows. Fodder grasses like Guinea or Napier with a minimum of 6 % crude protein
on dry matter basis is considered adequate as maintenance ration. Grass-legume mixed
fodder is considered adequate to maintain milk production of up to 3-4 kg. Generally an
Adult Unit (AU) weighing 300 kg body weight.

2.7 Details about physical and social milestones/deliverables to be achieved through


the proposed CSR project

 Developed skills of 50 poor person, economically backward and rural


communities through Dairy farm Training.
 The beneficiaries started their own trade individually or in group and/ or placed
with different small shops, for earning their livelihood/ supplement family
income and lead a better life.

After completion of the training, ZEPS in India will be providing hand holding support
to beneficiaries, in starting their own trade individually or in group. Also, to be explored
possibilities

2.8 Duration of the proposed project

This project will be of 12 Months


But we will be giving Cows to beneficiaries then they can sustain the same
afterwards.
2.9 Budget estimate of the project with detailed budget break-up of each expenditure
head along with documents proving rate reasonability.

2.10 What is the monitoring mechanism for the project as far as project activities and
benefits to the beneficiaries are concern?
The project will be monitored at every stage of implementation through PROJECT
ADVISORY COMMITTEE such as President, Secretary, Treasurer and all the
Governing Body members, Official Nominee from FUNDING AGENCY and
representatives from the training batch.

The groups achieving satisfactory performance will be put on higher priority and
these found below satisfaction level will be taken for interim evaluation to learn lessons
for remedial measures and cautions to be observed promptly for the Implementing
Agency’s progressive status .

PROPER PROJECTS REPORTS WILL BE MADE :


 1 project reports (Each Project report will be submitted at the end of 4
months).
 1 Finance reports (Each Project report will be submitted at the end of 4
months).
 1 Final impact report (Final detailed narrative report at the end of the
project).
 One finance report (final budget utilization as against the support budget).

2.11 Documents depicting the funding sources for the total budget of project under
reference other than MOTHER DAIRY LIMITED. and details of the amount
funded by each organization, if any.

How sustainability of the project is planned to be ensured?

The women are expected to acquire a strong sense of ownership of the program. The
project will promote aspects of livelihoods, which is a sustainable approach.
Financial sustainability of the program is to be enhancing by strategically
intervening in the market linkages. The trained women would mobilize and gain
access to resources, which hitherto were out of their reach like Govt. schemes,
grants, services, banks loans, subsidies etc.

2.13 Branding/Visibility/Mileage to MOTHER DAIRY LIMITED from the project.

Advertisement Boards will be placed in front of centers and logo & name will be
published on printed materials Etc.
