A floppy disk is a small magnetic disk that was used in the past for storing

computer data and programs. Floppy disks were used especially with personal
computers.

A Power Supply is an electrical device that offers electric power to an electrical


load such as laptop computer, server, or other electronic devices. The main
function of a power supply is to convert electric current from a source to the
correct voltage, current, and frequency to power the load.

Chassis Alternatively called the case, system unit, or base unit. The chassis is
the housing that helps protect and organize all the components that make up a
desktop computer.

The Motherboard serves as a single platform to connect all of the parts of a


computer together. It connects the CPU, memory, hard drives, optical drives,
video card, sound card, and other ports and expansion cards directly or via
cables. It can be considered as the backbone of a computer.

Optical Disc Drive (ODD) An optical disc drive (ODD) in a computer system allows
you to use CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs to listen to music or watch a movie. Most
drives also allow you to write data to a disc, so you can create your own music
CDs, video DVDs or even create of back-up copy of your important data files.

A Hard Drive is the hardware component that stores all of your digital content.
Your documents, pictures, music, videos, programs, application preferences,
and operating system represent digital content stored on a hard drive. Hard
drives can be external or internal.
