9 Choose the correct answers to complete the text.
What makes people happier – spending money on 1...... experience, such as a concert, or on a material
item, like a new bag? Amit Kumar and his research team wanted to find out. They asked 2,635 people to
participate in an experiment. The participants 2...... into two groups. One group (the material purchasers)
