PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Nature of duties:
End User support: Installing, configuring and maintaining Desktop and laptops including
gadgets like iPhone, smart phones and blackberry for E-mail communication for internal
corporate domains. Installing and managing all other hardware peripherals like Printers,
Scanners, and Card Scanners etc. The main objective is to analyze, troubleshoot and find
out the best solutions to the users up to their requirement and level of satisfaction they
expect from us. (IT Team). Provide end-to-end solution for all workstation/client related
issues within the time-frame as per the Company policy.
Server & Services (Core Servers): Managing and maintaining core servers and services
i.e. Primary and Backup Domain Controller configured with the roles like Active Directory
Domain Services (ADDS), Domain Name Server (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP) etc. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Creation, deletion and management
of objects, i.e. local user accounts, groups, workstations, servers etc. in their OU hierarchy.
Group Policy Object (GPO) administration, troubleshooting, and management, Plan all
migrations and upgrades related to the AD or the entire DC. Evaluate effective permissions
as per the user requirement and assign them. Perform Active Directory health check

Production servers: Managing servers in production environment like SQL Server, Team
Foundation Server and Application Server. SQL SERVER: Responsible for all the activities
like Installation, Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server Instances; Create users and
assign permissions based on the level of database access the user would need; Time to time
recover the databases to a specific point of time, as per the requests; Troubleshoot various
problems that arise on SQL clients in a day-to-day work and fix the issues. Documenting
major changes to the SQL Servers. TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER: Adding new security
groups and configures their permissions in Team Foundation; Configuring and Installing
required software for clients to work and connect to TFS servers like Visual Studio, Team
Foundation components, Team Explorer etc, Add team members to a team projects, Change
access levels or permissions etc. APPLICATION SERVER: Create and configure sites,
applications and virtual directories using IIS Management Tools, managing web server
security. Stop, start and troubleshoot the problems in services, application pools, and
websites as per the client requests.
Other Server: Provide Secure FTP server services to support all the user/employees and
client who need to access contents/data outside the domain; Managing Windows Server
Update Services (WSUS) to deploy and distribute latest Microsoft product updates to
workstation/client automatically to make sure their security and latest enhancement to
Microsoft operating systems and software; Managing Tally Server and client for
Account/Finance Department; Managing Print Server & services.
Network support: Installing, Configuring and maintaining local area network hardware
and software such as servers, switches, firewalls, routers, modems, cabling and internet
service. Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and monitoring traffic load through
the corporate network. Protecting network traffic with IPsec. Providing secure access to the
network for remote users. Configuring and implementing Network Address Translation
(NAT) servers in Cisco Routers for remote access of Portal Server. Configuring and Manage
Wireless network devices. Recommending technical alternatives involving technology, tools
and solutions components. Planning, designing, and developing local and wide area

Security and backup Solutions: Managing and maintaining Network Attached Storage
(NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) with Dynamic Processing with RAID 5 to secure
data from any natural/accidental disasters. Ensure Symantec End Point Protection antivirus
& solutions are maintained and updated properly. Ensuring the security of data from
internal and external attack. Implementing policies and procedures related to network,
hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security and backup. Plan and configure
network security, including building firewalls, managing host security, file permissions, file
system integrity etc. Monitor the implementation of all IT Security Systems.
Coordinating with vendors: Vendor Co-ordination for HW/SW related issues. Obtaining

Training & Mentoring: Monitoring and training new ICT support staff. Provide technical
training to less experienced staff or non-IT savvy employees. Communicating with other
departments to report and resolve software, hardware and operational problems.
