The firm was established in 2010 & gain the reputation for one of the best service providers in the Pune
City.
Mr. Jignesh Shah the proprietor of the firm is a very dynamic & always ready to try & implement new
things for business. Firm do the avg. T/O of 3.25 cores business. Mr. Jignesh believes in exclusive sales
staffing to ensuring proper focus on business which some time hampers his earning.
Mr. Jignesh is now planning to hire 2 more sales persons for its Nestle business, as in coming two
months there is a Diwali festival & to meet the demand & exploit the seasonality period. He is ready to
take up the challenge of 35% rise in festive season as compare to 18% CAGR of last two seasons. To
Boost the sale, he has plan to give 10% bonus (on Salary) to his Unit staff (Salesman, Driver & Delivery
boys). And 1.0 % additional cash discount to WS parties apart from regular cash Discount he offered
Which may lead to higher expenditure. Marico has also announced incentive of 1% additional for Festive
season business if the Firm deliver 22% + growth. To deliver this expected growth, he expects 4 day’s
increase in stocks (Inventory) & 5 day’s increase in Mkt. outstanding for Marico due to higher sales,
where as other companies’ scenario remains same. His other companies are growing @18%.

His firms WS business contributes 65% on which he gives 1.50 % Cash Discount while Retails Business
Contributes 35% on which he passes 0.75 % Cash Discount on regular basis. But he did not offer any cash
discount on Cargill India Products

He has also plan to hire 1 three wheeler & recruit 1 driver as well as 2 delivery Boys to fulfill the
expected addition Marico business load during festive Season.

All companies are working on advance payment terms.

Kindly Calculate the Current ROI & Festive Season ROI for Marico (Forecasted) & suggest whether this
experiment hamper his earning or he will gain out of this.

month as well as forecasted festive session month for the firm & Nestle company.
Students will prepare 3 to 4 slide ppt for evaluation & present as per schedule.
