    The Youtube video has nothing to do with the task you assigned us, but the

    effects of current technology are both positive and negative, depending on how
    people use it. As we keep moving through the time continuum, technology and its
    underlying aspects affect all of us. In essence, technology has always been with
    us and will continue to be with us. In many ways, technological advancements are
    made to improve people's lives and make things easier. Technology has advanced
    and communication has become instantaneous since the turn of the century. The
    way society communicates, interacts, and goes about its daily business is vastly
    different today than it was twenty years ago.

    The Internet has also provided a seemingly unlimited supply of resources,


    educational materials, and learning systems for people to learn or work from the
    comfort of their own homes, without having to interact with anyone and for
    social interaction, people frequently use apps to meet friends from the
    convenience and comfort of their own homes. This is in contrast to previous
    generations, who met friends and dates through casual mingling outside of their
    own homes. The disadvantage of this is the possibility of antisocial behavior and a
    lack of social skill development, as some teenagers are only able to communicate
    by texting via messaging rather than meeting people in the outside world.
    Technology also influences how societies and individuals behave, grow, evolve,
    and develop, both within their own lives and in their interactions with others.
    Technology has helped to bridge a global gap by connecting people through the
    digital world; however, those who meet physically face challenges because some
    of them are unable to separate from their mobile devices and that’s one of the
    negative effects of current technology.

    Our environments are so full of technology that we often take it for granted
    and don't realize how much of an impact it has on us until we don't have a phone,
    transportation, water, or electricity. Without a doubt, technology has an impact
    on society. In fact, we experience this effect in our daily lives. It has an impact on
    the growth of the economy, our culture, and our standard of living. It is important
    to note, however, that the benefits are a double-edged sword, with some being
    detrimental and other being beneficial. Despite the fact that there are numerous
    ways in which technology negatively impacts our society, for the most part, it has
    greatly helped in making our lives better. Technology has greatly helped us in
    becoming more efficient, thereby increasing productivity. It has also aided us to
    save a significant amount of time and money, which are big advantages that
    cannot be overlooked.
