4 Justo Lipsio In Alma Universitate Lovaniensi Professori A D MCMIX Restitutae Universittatis LXXV Leopoldo II Rege Belgarum A statue to Justus Lipsius (Joest Lips), who was born in Overijse (Duchy of Brabant) on October 18 1547 and died on 23 March 1606 in Leuven. He was a humanist and Latin Professor at the University of Leuven, from 1579, and was one of the most famous scholars of the 16 century.
The Totem Built in 2005 to celebrate the 575th birthday of the University of Leuven by Jan Fabre.

Paep Thoon 1430(?) 1487 P. Vanbekbergen 45 j Handelaarsverbond In honour of Paep Thoon, an organist/jester at the Holy Sacrament of St Peters church in the 15th century, who used to tell the truth through dark humour.

13 Jozef De Veuster Pater Damiaan De Concrecatie Der Hhaharten Ceboren Te Tremeloo Den 3 Jan 1840 Overleden Te Molokai Den 15 April 1889 In honour of Father Damiaan (born Jozef de Veuster), a Catholic Priest born just outside Leuven who was sent as a missionary to Hawaii to look after lepers. He was canonised for his persistent efforts to grant the lepers dignity, against the custom of the Church. He died of leprosy in 1889.

15 Rene 50 jaar Handelaarsverbond Leuven Stad Leuven Embryo Reading a book entitled Loveniers Armand, the name of the sculptor. Rene is meant to represent the active female students in Leuven, built near Atrecht College, the first to offer university degrees in teaching to women. It was named after Ren Depret, head of the Merchants Association of Leuven and the Friends of Leuven Museums, among many other associations.

Sylvain Van de Weyer Ne a Louvain le 19 Janvier 1802 Mort a Londres le 23 Mar 1874 Lid van et voorloopig bewind minister van staat buitengewoon cezant en gevolmachtico minister te londen 1831-1867 Sylvain Van de Weyer was a politican during the Belgian Revolution in 1830 (from the United Kingdom of the Netherlands). He became part of the central committee of the Provisional Government of Belgium and became the diplomatic representatives of the revolutionaries and the ambassador to London. He later became Prime Minister of Belgium.

20 De Kotmadam Statue by Fred Bellefroid built in 1984 in honour of the kotmadam. Kot is Flemish slang for a student room, and the kotmadam is the landlady of the building, who would prepare meals for the students, tidy their rooms and help them when help was needed.

Pieter Coutereel 14 EEUW Dedicated to Pieter Coutereel, Mayor of Leuven in 1348 and leader of the Leuven Uprising of 1360, in which non-nobles were first allowed a say in the running of the city
