The AW09 is a next-generation, high performance, single-
engine helicopter offering the built-in versatility to tackle
multiple missions. It is developed in Switzerland by Kopter
Group, acquired by Leonardo in 2020.

The AW09 features the latest technology and is optimised


for a wide range of roles including passenger transport,
utility, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and law
enforcement.

The three-tonne class helicopter combines flexibility,


together with a large, adaptable cabin space that can
accommodate up to eight passengers. The state-of-the-art
cockpit, high cruise speed, long range, and low noise profile
deliver the capability needed for demanding missions.
