Introduction:
The BBA program extends over a period of four years divided into eight semesters.
Each semester consists of 20 weeks and 30 lectures of 90 minutes duration per
lecture will be held for each course. Each course is credited as 3 units. Students will
be allowed to enroll in 5 courses in each semester. Thus a total of 120 credit hours
are required for a BBA degree.
Internship:
The internship in an integral part of BBA degree requirement. The basic objective of
internship is to provide practical exposure to the students in a working
environment. Students is placed in business organizations, autonomous and
government enterprises and other research bodies or development projects so that
they get an opportunity for translating theoretical conception in real life situation.
The internship covers 8 weeks of organizational attachment and another 3-4 weeks
for finalization of report. The student must prepare and submit the internship report
within the specified time and must get a passing grade ‘D’. Failure to obtain a
passing grade calls for either revision or resubmission of the report or retake of the
internship program as may be determined by the academic council of the
university. However, retaking of internship will be allowed once only. The grade so
earned on the internship will be shown in the transcript but will not be included in
the computation of the CGPA.
At least GPA 5 (having minimum GPA 2.5 or 2nd division in both SSC &
HSC or in equivalent examinations)

At least GPA 6 (combined, but score not less than GPA 2 in any individual
examination)
or
The Children of Freedom Fighters: A total GPA of 5.00 or more in S.S.C.
and H.S.C. Examinations combined,
or
O Level: Completed 5 subjects with no ‘E’ in any subject.
A Level: Completed 2 subjects with no ‘E’ in any subject.
In addition, the student has to have at least four ‘C’ with no ‘E’ in all seven
subjects combined in ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels.
or
A United States High School Diploma with required minimum grade point.
Grading Policy:
The letter grading are calculated in the following manner
Grades are converted into Grade Point Average (GPA) and ultimately into Cumulative Grade
Point Average (CGPA) on the basis of established rules.

Class Performance/Quiz/Assignments/Presentation 10%
Class Test 10%
Midterm 20%
Viva-Voce 10%
Final Exam 40%
