techniques, and format. For example, novels,
short stories, and essays have different
structural elements.
Style
The manner in which a writer
expresses ideas, including their
choice of language, tone, and
voice.
Content
The subject matter or themes that a
literary work explores.
Purpose
The intended effect or function of the
literary work, whether to entertain, inform,
persuade, or provoke thought.
