sinners to repentance. 14 Then came to him the disciples of
John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy
disciples fast not? 15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the
children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the
bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the

Mark 2:1-12 [ABRIDGED]
And again he entered into Capernaum, after some days; and it
was noised that he was in the house. 2 And straightway many
were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to
receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he
preached the word unto them. 3 And they come unto him,
bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. 4 And
when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they
uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it
up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. 5
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy,
Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Mark 2:11-12
11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way

into thine house. 12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed,

and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all
amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this
fashion.
Acts 3:5-7
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something

of them. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but

bones received strength.

birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did
sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus
answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but
that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 4 I must
work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night
cometh, when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the world,
I am the light of the world. 6 When he had thus spoken, he spat
on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed
the eyes of the blind man with the clay, 7 And said unto him,
Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation,
Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came
seeing. 8 The neighbours therefore, and they which before had
seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and
begged?
