ABOUT THE ARTIST / AUTHOR Chery Mae, a 2nd Year College Student at Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila from
Batasan Hills, Quezon City. She does an art appropriation as she becomes a teacher
in the future and don’t want his/her student to experience an bad traits like the viral
teacher in the Philippines who shamed her students because of their attitudes.
WHO IS THE INTENDED AUDIENCE This art appropriation is directed towards students, parents, and teachers. In today's
generation, it's common to see some children behaving in a childish manner, often
because they've been excessively spoiled by their parents. This tendency towards
childish behavior can sometimes lead to teachers getting frustrated or angry when
dealing with such students, as they may exhibit a lack of maturity or responsibility. In
addition, there's a growing trend where some teachers express their emotions quite
openly on social media platforms. While this can be a way for teachers to vent or
share their experiences, it can also have unintended consequences, as it may
influence how they are perceived by others, including students, parents, and fellow
educators. Such public displays of emotions can sometimes create
misunderstandings or negative perceptions among people, impacting the overall
dynamics within the educational community.
DESCRIBE THE CONTENT/CONTEXT A teacher from a public school has become popular on social media by doing live
videos on Facebook where she talks negatively about her students. Many people
watch these videos on Facebook Live and through this art activity, it is important for
both students and teachers to remember their boundaries to avoid crossing lines. As
future teachers, when students perform well in class, teachers should appreciate their
efforts in a good way.

OBSERVE This situation involves students, parents, and teachers. Nowadays, some children act
immature because they've been overly pampered by their parents. This behavior

instance, a teacher from a public school has gained popularity by posting negative
videos about her students on Facebook Live. This highlights the need for everyone to
respect boundaries. As future teachers, it's important to appreciate students' efforts
positively, fostering a better learning environment.
The important message that I want to share is about being careful with how we act

much, they might not behave well in school. This can make teachers upset. Also,
when teachers share negative things about students online, it can cause problems.
So, it's important for everyone to be respectful and positive, both in person and on
social media, to make school a good place for learning.

INFER The feelings shared by the author is to show both worry and care. There's worry about
how spoiling kids too much can affect their behavior. There's also a reminder to use

RECOMMEND I recommend these ideas to teachers, school leaders, parents, and anyone who
works in education. It's important for them to understand how spoiling kids too much
