<How check regenerative braking force>
1. In the regenerative brake setting field, select “NON”.
See "[5] Regeneration (neutral) mode setting"
on page 13.

accelerator pedal.
3. Lightly depress the brake pedal.
4. Confirm that a light brake force (regenerative brake) is
applied.
5. After checking the brake force, return the regenerative
braking setting to the original setting.

NOTE This function controls lateral movement of load and does not control
lateral movement of frame. The effect will vary depending on work
conditions, such as road surface, traction, speed, and load.
If adjusting pitch control does not produce a significant change,
turn off pitching control and check lateral movement under those
conditions, and then select whichever setting has the best result.

3. Without depressing the accelerator pedal, check that


traction motor current (MOTOR) is 000A.

4. Jack up the front wheels, and do the following operations.


lCheck idling current
Fully depress the accelerator pedal for 10 seconds.
lCheck locking current
1) Pull the parking brake lever.
2) C ompletely lock the front wheels by f ir mly
depressing the foot brake.
3) F ully depress the ac c elerator pedal for 10
seconds.

5. Under these conditions, check that the digital high


tester indicates a traction motor current (MOTOR)
within ± 20A.

within ± 20A.

parking brake.
5. Adjust the potentiometer mounting angle so that the voltage is within
0.85 ± 0.1 V (0.75 - 0.95 V) when the accelerator pedal is released.
6. Tighten or loosen the stopper bolt so that the voltage is between 4.0 V
and 4.5 V when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
7. Check and set ADDRESS W0016 with the same procedure.

l The control system of this forklift truck has two
memory screens: "Error history memory 1" and "Error
history memory 2".

l "Error history memory 1" records the 10 most recent


errors and abnormalities. They are shown on the
display in order from the newest event.

l "Error histor y memor y 2" records all errors and


abnormalities that have occurred. The display shows
all detectable error codes. When a code is highlighted,
an error has occurred.

When you replace the EPS controller, you need to
calibrate battery voltage in order to correctly activate the
battery indicator.

<Preparation>
l Open the battery cover and set the digital tester to
measure battery voltage.
Apply the positive (+) probe to the positive terminal of
the battery.
Apply the negative (-) probe to the negative terminal of
the battery.
