Different Swimming Strokes: Freestyle - Hold Your Forehead Just Under The Water While You Swim. The Water
Freestyle – Hold your forehead just under the water while you swim. The water
should rest between your hairline and your eyebrows. Keep your neck and
upper-back muscles relaxed while you swim. Your head should be cocked about
45 degrees forward. If you move your head down too much toward your chest,
it will cause more resistance.
Backstroke- In backstroke, you float on your back in the water. Your body is
almost horizontal, with a slight tilt toward the feet.
Breaststrokes – The breaststroke kick includes three basic motions. In short, you’ll need to
kick your legs behind you, glide forward, and then pull yourself forward using your arms.
Butterfly Strokes- The butterfly is a swimming stroke swum on the chest, with both arms
moving symmetrically, accompanied by the butterfly kick along with the movement of the
hips and chest.
