    YOU WILL NEED: 3. Edgestitch and Topstitch ¼" (6mm) from

    Lining: Cotton or Cotton Blends
    Interfacing: Fusible Interfacing
    Notions: One 9" Zipper

    INSTRUCTIONS: 4. Place one BOTTOM 2 to each front and

    6. Edgestitch dart, as shown. 11. Turn in ¼" (6mm) on long edges of
    STRAP 3; press.

    12. With wrong sides together, fold strap


    along foldline; press. Stitch close to
    pressed edges.

    7. Turn in seam allowance on upper edge


    of each front and back section; press.
    13. Fold strap in half crosswise; baste
    ends together.

    8. To shorten zipper, whipstitch across 14. Pin strap to one side of front and back,

    16. Turn right side out; press.

    10. Apply remaining front and back section


    to opposite side of zipper in same manner.

    17. Turn in seam allowance on upper
    edge of each FRONT and BACK LINING
    4; press. Stitch darts in each front and
    back lining section. Slash along slash line
    to within 1" (2.5cm) of upper small circle.
    Press dart open.

    18. Stitch front and back lining sections


    together at sides and lower
    edges.

    19. With wrong sides together, place lining


    over bag. Slipstitch pressed edge of lining
    to zipper tape.
