Event Rule Book

AYAAN (2024), the 12th Annual State-Level Fest of Sanskar Institute of Management &
Information Technology [B.B.A.|B.C.A.|B.COM.(H)|B.COM] emerged in 2010 as a
celebrated inter-collegiate competitive event. Originally conceived as a district-level
competition, the overwhelming response prompted its expansion to the state level. AYAAN
has evolved into the hub of revolutionary thoughts and ambitious dreams, drawing students
from all corners of Gujarat, including enthusiastic technocrats, managerial experts, artists,
acclaimed scholars, and prominent figures. The festival's primary objective is to orchestrate a
diverse array of events, providing budding professionals with extensive insights into various
disciplines and fostering ethereal experiences. AYAAN actively promotes industry-institute
relationships by serving as a platform for the realization of innovative ideas. A battle which is
not won doesn't put heads down, but a battle which is never fought!

GENERAL RULES
To maintain the transparency in results of the events, we will call out expert judges from
different fields; moreover students from the host college will not participate.
● All participants should carry their college Identity Card.
● A college can send two entries for each event and maximum ten entries
for Ramp Your Attire - A Fashion Show. (Form A for First Entry, Form
B for the second and a separate Form for Fashion show participation can
be utilized).
● Participants can also fill the registration Form online through
o https://ayaan.sanskareducation.org
● Students from any stream can participate in any event.
● The participants are advised to carry backup pen drives of the
presentation/music with them, wherever applicable.
● The rules given for each event must be followed by each team.
● The decision of the judges will be final and abiding to all.
● The date of the Event is 24th January 2024 and the entries should
reach us latest by 20th January 2024.
● For the detailed information of each event including Registration fees,
read the attachment.
● The Institute will provide lunch to participants.
● If the participants (Enrolling from out of Kachchh) are willing to get
accommodation, they can contact the below mentioned numbers.
● Payment is accepted in Cash, Cheque/DD or Digital medium.

AI ARTIST
“Enhance your inner Artist with AI”

● Two entries per college/department, each entry of one student will be allowed.
● Students are supposed to create an image using an online AI Tool.
● Maximum 45 minutes will be allowed to complete the activity.
● Participants are not allowed to leave the computer laboratory during the entire
duration of the game.
● Internet connection will be provided at the venue.
● The participant will be provided with themes to write the prompt for the image
creation.
● Institute will provide all necessary resources for online image creation.
● Tools permitted are Deep AI, Bing and Wepik.
● Participants have to show every screenshot of all prompts used to generate an image.
● Participants should NOT bring any content in electronic devices such as CDs, Pen
Drives, etc.
● The usage of Pen Drives, Mobile, Hard Drive is prohibited.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● Judgment Criteria: Creativity, Relevance, Prompt, Content
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.

MANAGEMENT ROADIES
"Plan your strategy to win”

● Two entries per college/department, each entry of five students will be allowed.
● This event will be a task based management game.
● Tasks will be informed to students on the spot which they need to complete as
per the instructions given to them.
● Tasks may include Ground based activities.
● The Management may take the decision of elimination round if required.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.

ARTBEAT
“Unfold your artistic brilliance”

● Two entries per college/department, each entry of one participant will be allowed.
● Participants are allowed to make either Cartoons/posters/sketches.
● Drawing sheet will be provided by the college.
● Participants will have to bring their own colors, brushes or extra materials.
● Participants will have to submit their work within one hour and thirty minutes.
● Theme of competition will be provided on the spot.
● No readymade material, glitter or any college are allowed to be used.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● Judgment criteria: Clarity of work, Creativity, Relevance and Presentation
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.

DIGITAL TREASURE HUNT


“Uncover the Digital Fortune"

● Two entries per college/department, each entry of two students will be allowed.
● The usage of Pen drives, Mobile, Hard drives is prohibited.
● Once the time limit is over, no responses will be accepted.
● Participants are not allowed to leave the computer laboratory during the entire
duration of the game.
● Play the digital game using given clues and solve the exciting digital puzzles.
● Participants are not allowed to take any kind of external help and if found taking any
external help will be disqualified.
● The decision of judges will be final.
● This hunt is a mixture of different skillful analysis, allowing participants to use their
creative and critical analysis skills to collect different details during the task.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.

BRAND QUIZ
“Where Brands Meet Brainpower”

● Brand Quiz is related to various brands, students should possess ample


knowledge/updates of the brands all across the globe.
● Two entries per college/department, each entry of two student participants will be
allowed.
● The teams will be asked questions related to identifying brands, logos, brand
ambassadors, taglines, jingles, advertisements, campaigns, celebrities associated with
brands, any timeline associated with the brands, parent company names of brands,
their founders etc.
● This event will consist of multiple rounds.
First round: Shubhaarambh
o First round will be a screening round in which the quiz would be conducted in
written mode. Each team will be asked twenty questions.
o There will not be any negative marking in the first round.
o Top scoring teams will enter into the second round.
Second round: Pehchano to jaane
o Second round will be a multimedia round.
o Each team will be asked three questions.
o There will be negative marking in the second round.
o Top scoring teams will enter into the final round.
Final Round: Aatishbaazi
o This will be a rapid fire round.
o Each team will be asked five questions.
o There will be negative marking in the final round.
● Evaluation pattern, time duration for answers, specific rules regarding each round will
be disclosed by judges/coordinators on the spot.
● The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or any electronic device, during
any stages of the Quiz.
● Judges’ decisions shall be considered final.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.

GOONJ
“Voice of Society”

● Two entries per college/department, each entry of minimum 2 and maximum 4


students will be allowed.
● Participants have to perform for Three to Seven minutes on social issues by way of
Poetry, Drama, Presentation, Mime, Skit or any other way of expression.
● Topics will be declared at the time of the event and each team 45 minutes for
preparation.
● Sample topics can be Women Empowerment, Drug Abuse as a social problem, Global
Pandemic and its after effects etc..
● Participants have to bring their own props if required for presentation.
● Judgment criteria: Confidence level of the participant, impact of social message &
expression.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.

JUST A MINUTE
"Tell your story"

● Two entries per college/ department, each entry of one student will be allowed
● Each player will throw four dice, and the player will create the story considering the
top facing side of all four dice.
● Students will be given 1 minute to visualize the dice and 10 minutes to prepare the
story and maximum 5 minutes to present the story.
● All four symbols must be covered in the story.
● Participants are not allowed to use mobile phones or internet facilities.
● Participants can use any one language Hindi / English/ Gujarati.
● Judgment criteria: Narration, content, creativity, clarity of language
● The judge's decision will be final.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.
● Registration fees: ₹ 300 Per Student

RAMP YOUR ATTIRE
“Let Fashion Walk”

● Ten entries per college/department will be allowed.


● Each entry of a single student will be allowed.
● Music and theme will be provided on the website Before 4 days by the institute.
● Participants need to manage costumes and other necessary accessories.
● Purchased, professionally made, or rented costumes are permitted.
● Participants will be responsible for his/her belongings.
● The judge's decision will be final and abiding.
● Judgment criteria: Presentation, craftsmanship skill, creativity, costume and
attractiveness.
● A student participating in this event can participate in any other event except Talent
Hunt.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.
● Registration fees: ₹ 300 Per Student

TALENT HUNT
“Way to the Stage”
● Two entries from one college/Department of which one entry can consist of a single
student (Solo entry) and other entry can consist of multiple students (Group entry).
● Participants can showcase any of their talents such as Acting, Singing, Dancing,
Mimicry, Stand-up comedy, Magic etc.
● A student can participate either in solo or in group but not in both.
● Minimum three and maximum five minutes would be allowed for performance.
● Maximum five minutes of time will be given for stage setup/preparation.
● Simple mic. and sound systems will be provided, no other special service/facility will
be provided.
● Sounds and Songs should be carried in pen drive only and should be submitted before
the event starts; if a participant fails to submit it then AYAAN committee holds the
right to disqualify the performance.
● No vulgar or offensive content will be tolerated and the performance will be
discontinued/ disqualified immediately.
● No other material having the potential of spoiling the stage such as oil, water, and
color would be permitted.
● Participants will have to carry their properties with them, no property would be
provided.
● A student participating in this event can participate in any other event except the
fashion show.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.

REEL MAKING
“Feel the Thrill of the Reel”

● Two entries per college/department, each entry of one student/Group (maximum four
students) will be allowed.
● The number of rounds and terms and conditions for the event will be declared on the
spot.
● Sound for the REELS will be provided on the spot (it can be in any form like
Dialogue, Transition Sound etc.)
● Participants have to make REELS within the campus itself.
● Participants shall add Sanskar and Ayaan in their video.
● Participants have to follow, tag, and add collaborator @sanskarinst
● Participants have to use the following #tags in the reel.

● Judgment criteria: Creativity, Expression, and Presentation.

SCAVENGER HUNT
“Discover, explore, conquer”

● Two entries per college/ department, each entry of five participants will be allowed.
● A traditional scavenger hunt involves participants being given a list of items that they
have to collect.
● Theme: Money Heist
● This hunt is the mixture of different skillful tasks which allows participants to use
their creative and critical analytical skills to collect different items during the task.
● It consists of several rounds.
● The hunt will have different fun twists to complete the task.
● The team who successfully completes every phase and reaches the final destination
wins the hunt.
● Participants are not required to use their cash in any of the tasks.
● Participants are not allowed to take external help.
● The decision of judges will be final.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.

SNAP STAR
“Discover & Store Memorable Day”

● Two entries per college/department, each entry of one student will be allowed.
● Participants have to bring their own gadgets/software/applications for photography
and videography.
● Participants have to capture photographs and videos on the given theme.
● Participants will have to submit their best three pictures and captured video (along
with editing if required) of 90 seconds at the said time on the registration desk.
● Theme of competition will be provided on the spot.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● Judgment will be based on submitted photographs and captured video.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.
● Registration fees: ₹ 300 Per Student

BOX CRICKET
“Crick Crick Cricket, Don’t Throw Your Wicket”

● Two entries per college/department, each entry of seven students (including two
females mandatorily) will be allowed.
● All matches will be played on a knock out basis.
● One match will be of five overs and one bowler is allowed to ball only one over.
● One over must be bowled by a female player.
● Last ball of each over will be a super ball. (Elaboration of Super Ball will be declared
on the spot)
● Description of extra runs (for e.g. wide, no ball) will be given on the spot.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● The Umpire's decision will be considered as the final decision.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.
● Registration fees: ₹ 300 Per Student

CELEBRITY MAKE-UP
“Blend, Buff, Conquer.”

● One entry per college/department, each entry of one student along with an
accompanist will be allowed.
● Accompanists are required to arrive with a fresh, makeup-free face and without false
lashes. In the event that the accompanist arrives with makeup already applied, they
will be asked to remove it before the commencement of the competition..
● Each participant has to bring his/her own tools, and any necessary supplies, at his/her
own expense.
● Judgment criteria: Attention to detail, overall presentation, use of products,
presentation and professionalism.
● A student participating in this event can also participate in either Fashion Show or
Talent Hunt.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.
● Registration fees: ₹ 300 Per Student

THE BULL CARTEL
An Event based on Stock Market “Share” के शेर

● Two entries from one College/Department, each entry of two students will be allowed.
● Platform and Medium of Trading will be provided. Other details will be briefed at the
time of the event.
● Participants will be given a fixed virtual fund and time to Invest & Trade in the Stock
Market.
● Trading activity will be conducted online in the real time market on the platforms of
NSE and BSE.
● Trading activity will be for Equity & derivatives only.
● The event will be divided into three phases:
● First Phase:
○ Phase 1 will be from 10:10 AM to 12:00 PM.
○ Thereafter 10 min Break will be given.
○ Elimination rounds may be there if required.
● Second Phase:
○ Phase 2 will be from 12:10 PM to 01:50 PM.
○ Thereafter 10 min Break will be given.
○ Elimination rounds may be there if required.
● Third Phase:
○ Phase 3 will be from 02:00 PM to 03:30 PM.
○ Elimination rounds may be there if required.
● (Mobile or any other references will not be permitted. If found using any such
references then the participant/team will be immediately disqualified.)
● Final Decisions taken by judge/judges will be abiding and questions can be asked
from judges’ panel if clarifications required.
● Judgment criteria:
○ For 1st Phase: On the basis of percentage of profit.
○ For 2nd Phase: On the basis of percentage of profit.
○ For 3rd Phase: On the basis of percentage of profit.
○ For Event: Highest Overall Percentage of 3 Phases together.
● No on-the-spot registration will be allowed.

Mobile Gaming (BGMI)
“Survive – Dominate -- Win”

● Two entries from one College/Department, each entry of four students 4 will be
allowed.
● Emulators are not allowed in any organized game mode.
● The player will be disqualified if found using any kind of emulator.
● Any game modifying tools except ‘GFX tool’ is not allowed.
● Players can play on android/ ios tablets/ phones only.
● Only in-game voice chat should be used after the game is started till its completion.
● Any use of unfair means such as aimbot, triggerbot, ESP will be disqualified.
● If a team/ player fails to join the room in time, their squad/ they will be given 0 points
for it.
● Waiting time is at most 10 minutes between games.
● Exiting a game without good reason will disqualify the team.
● The exploitation of bugs that hinders fair play will result in disqualification.
● For the tie breaker of the points, total team/ solo kills will be considered for breaking
the tie.
● For the further tie breaker, the number of chicken dinners will be considered.
Organizers would not be held responsible for connectivity issues on the participant's
side.
● Participants are requested to remain ready at least 15 minutes prior to the start of any
match. Late entries would not be allowed.
● Death Replay or Screen recordings is compulsory for all the participants.

Tournament Guidelines:
● Players will participate as a 4 man-squad.
● Maps selected will be notified to the participants before the match.
○ Erangle
○ Miramar
● Top 3 teams will move ahead in the next round from each round.

Point System:
● Kill - 1 point.
● 1st - 15 points.
● 2nd - 12 points.
● 3rd - 10 points.
● 4th - 8 points.
● 5th - 6 points.
● 6th - 4 points.
● 7th - 2 points.
● 8th - 12th - 1 point.
