Knight Warriors Think Campus Box Cricket Tournament Rules Season 1

A) Registration Rules

a) Team Registration

 Minimum 11 players need to register and maximum 15.


 Only Think Campus employees and contract workers are allowed.
 Team entry fees is Rs.1100/-
 The Captain should send the player details in the following format.

 Organizers will share the cricheroes links, then the captain should add their players in the Cricheroes app.
 One Player can not play in 2 teams.

b) Individual Player Registration

 Registration fee is Rs.100/- and only Think campus employees and workers are allowed.
 Individual Player has to fill in the Registration form.
 Registration form will share in Google docs format.
 Registered player will be directly be entered into bidding.
 Once the players are registered individually, other captains cannot add them before bidding.
 If the individual player violated above rule, they cannot participate in the tournament.
 15th February Thursday is the date of bidding. The time of bidding, we will inform later.
 Individual who likes to act as captain can reach out to the organizers, if there are too many captains, we will
decide on the lucky draw.
 Bidding rules will inform as on 13th February.

B) Match Rules.

 Match fixtures are decided based on a Lucky draw.


 Based on the team, organizers will decide whether to conduct knock out or league matches. Most of the
time, league matches will be conducted.
 Sixit Ball is used for all the matches.
 Batsman can use runner without injury.
 A retired hurt batsman can only play after following all the wickets and only one retirement allowed in a
match.
 11 Player Per Side
 8 over Match (2+2+2+2)
 Maximum over for a bowler is 2.
 Chucking is not allowed.
 An Innings has to be completed within 30 minutes (The umpire has to decide on this). Otherwise, bowling
team has to play with 9 players in those late overs.
 If umpire called a chucking, then that bowler can not bowl in that match.
 Direct hit to net is four, above the net is considered as out.
 No six in the tournament.
 From offside last tree to building gap area after the four-line considered as 2 runs.
 No Leg bye, No Free hit, No Mankade.
 Overthrow, Byes, No Ball and wide will count.
 Any argument, Only Captain should speak.
 Backside legside sitting area is a declared 1 run, but the strike should change.
 Building situated in the ground, directly hit to the first-floor area considered as out.
 If the ball hits the tree and come back to the ground it will be considered as not out.
 Above rule is applicable to the tree situated outside the ground.
 If the ball hit the tree and fielder take the catch it is out.
 In Leg side area tree there is a mark. If directly hit, on that mark and below the mark is only considered the
boundary.
 In Leg side area steps, from the first step itself are considered as four runs. From the top step, we will put a
rope to decide whether a direct hit is out or four runs.
 The Umpire decision is final, Umpire can check with organizers, in case of doubt in rules.
 It is an umpire’s duty to ask the guard and inform the batsman. If the bowler changed the guard, without
informing umpire it is considered as no ball.
 If any matches are tied, there will be a super over.

C) Prizes.

 Man of the Match in every match.


 Best Batsman, Best bowler, MVP of the Tournament.
 Winner Trophy, Runner up trophy.
 Organizers will provide bowls.
 All the trophies will be distributed on the day of the tournament.
